In my view, the logic of quantitative trading investment is completely aligned with running a business:

Operating with fixed rules (strategies) to generate profit from 'probabilistic advantage + scale effect' spread, essentially it's all about buying low and selling high to earn net profit.
Breaking down three core alignments:

1. Strategy = Business Model: A quantitative strategy is a reusable profit template, like a standardized recipe in a restaurant; strategy backtesting is like tasting dishes, while live trading is equivalent to opening and operating a store.

2. Risk Control = Cost Management: Stop-loss and position management correspond to controlling losses and reducing inventory in a business—both aim to protect capital and avoid losing everything in one go.
