๐จ๐บ๐ธ The 10-year Treasury hit a 24-year high and kept climbing even as oil eased, and the bond market may be pricing in inflation the data hasn't printed yet

David Lin doesn't claim to know why, and that honesty is the useful part.
His theory: the bond market is sniffing a second round of inflation that core PCE and core CPI haven't caught yet, because it arrives with a lag.
What's on the board: a record S&P while Oxbow Advisors counts roughly 45 percent of its stocks already down 20 percent, Nvidia worth more than the entire Russell 2000, Fed minutes naming the AI buildout as an inflation driver for the first time he can recall, and Reuters reportedly calling this the worst week of Hormuz attacks of the whole war.
So ask the obvious one... if everything is fine, why does the safest asset on earth keep demanding a higher price?

Trump ended with a message to the battleground state:
๐ธ๐ฆ Saudi Aramco is about to have more gas than it knows what to do with.
So it's reportedly preparing to carve its entire gas business out into a separate company that could one day be listed.
The plan is internally dubbed "Project Gamma."
The surplus comes from the $100B Jafurah field, which started producing last year.
Wood Mackenzie estimates the kingdom could be left with as much as 50 billion cubic meters of spare gas a year once its own needs are covered.
Much of the gas will go to power plants being switched over from oil, which frees up more crude to sell abroad, and some will feed Riyadh's AI and data center push.
The rest has nowhere obvious to go. Saudi Arabia has never exported gas, and selling it overseas as LNG would mean building liquefaction plants it doesn't have.
An export terminal using Jafurah gas was pitched last year, then shelved, with Riyadh reportedly wanting to cover its own needs first.
Europe is scrambling for gas, and Riyadh's biggest headache is having too much of it
