The past month has pushed StandX further toward the full SIP-5 vision, with SIP-5B Community Vaults now live and momentum building toward Universal Markets. Here is everything you may have missed:
Community Vault Manager Challenge: The Community Vault Manager Challenge is now live, putting SIP-5B into action with managers competing across different strategies for a 9,000 DUSD prize pool. The campaign runs until September 10th, with performance judged across ROI, Maker Hours and Risk Adjusted Return.Community Vaults in action: With the challenge underway, very different strategies are already emerging across the vaults. Managers are testing different positions, risk profiles and profit sharing structures as more volatile market conditions put their approaches to the test. Some managers have chosen to make their positions public during the campaign. Vault creation is set to become public once it concludes.XAU and BTC Depth: On August 17th StandX liquidity moved into the top tier of perps DEXes. XAU depth reached $12.08M at 10bps, more than the approximately $10.18M combined across seven other compared venues in the snapshot. BTC depth also reached $17.24M at 10bps, ranking first among the compared leading perp DEXs at the timeCommunity Maker Yield update: This month we introduced more precise maker liquidity measurements, with each trading pair now assigned its own trading session and off session multiplier. For example, SPCX / USD follows US equity market hours, with qualifying activity outside the session receiving a 10% multiplier.
