🚨BREAKING: The U.S. Treasury Secretary, Bessent, said that the Treasury will sanction a "major bank" on Monday as part of its campaign to isolate Iran from the global financial system.
The bank’s name has not been disclosed, and the measure was originally scheduled for Friday, but was postponed due to the September 11 anniversary ceremonies.
This would be the third bank targeted by Operation Economic Outcast, after a branch of an Egyptian bank in the United Arab Emirates and a Turkish investment bank in recent weeks.
