Let's share some personal opinions, after all, I have also shorted the market.

Yesterday, Bitcoin rebounded after dropping from 983 and surged all the way up to a high of 1018. There is no denying that the surge in US stocks after opening did affect the price of Bitcoin, especially the Nasdaq index, which broke its historical high and directly stood above 20,000 points. This is comparable to the price breaking 100,000 on the 12.5, having a similar impact. Whether there will be signs of a pullback in the coming days is also worth considering.

From the market trend, after the surge to 100,000 last night, there were two dips down to 996, which is the previous high position, indicating that this is a valid short-term support, equivalent to a top-bottom conversion position.

Secondly, in the morning, there were two dips from the high point of 1018 down to 1003, noting that it happened twice. This also indicates valid short-term support. If it goes downward and breaks 1003 and 996, then a return to 990 or even below 980 would not be difficult. Now it’s a matter of time to exchange for space.

The upper high point of 1018 has also been touched twice, and over the weekend, it retraced from this position down to 940. Therefore, whether there is a short-term double top at this position is a possibility that cannot be ruled out, as after a surge, a pullback followed by another rise makes it easier to harvest us retail investors.

Assuming that the price goes directly up and breaks the new high, I believe the extent of increase on the day Trump moved into the White House won’t be that significant, after all, suspense should be kept until January 20th next year. As for the price, I’m not optimistic about breaking 110,000 or 120,000. Still, the view remains that it might maintain a high level around 100,000 for a long time, as long as everyone is making money, the game can still operate normally. If the price rises too high, it clears out the retail investors, which is not a good thing for them.

Regarding our short position, this is my viewpoint: if the price breaks 1046, then after a dip down to the range of 1003-1013, I will choose to cut my losses.

If the price only dips down from 1018, then the focus will be on the breaking situation at 996. If it breaks down, I will consider reducing my position in the range of 985-990. If it does not break down, I’ll take a loss at 996 for a few hundred points.
