In finance and cryptocurrency, P2P has protection mechanisms (such as escrow), but it still carries risks of scams, freezing of your bank account, or insufficient legal framework for full protection.
+ My P2P trading experience on the Binance exchange over the past few years.
- For small amounts, P2P transactions get released very quickly. But for large amounts, traders often resort to tricks such as: (blurred screenshots of money transfers requiring contact via Zalo... the bank is erroring or under maintenance...) The purpose is simply to delay so they can keep us anxious and panicked.
- Note that we don’t need to do anything—just wait until the trading time expires. The traders still won’t release the funds; you only need to submit a dispute/complaint.
