NFP Day Is Here; And BTC Is Already Flexing at $86K 👀
Today's jobs report could set the tone for Fed expectations, and crypto, into Q4.
🔹 NFP releases 12:30 UTC today, forecast: 89K jobs (vs. 162K last month) 🔹 $BTC already pushing above $86K ahead of the print, "Uptober" hopes building 🔹 Strong jobs data = cooler rate-cut odds, could pressure risk assets 🔹 Weak data = more cut odds, often read as bullish for BTC
⚠️ Historically, NFP days aren't always huge BTC movers on their own, it's often the follow-through in yields that matters more.

$XAUT Into CPI: Gold Is Stalling, and $BTC Isn’t Immune! 🪙
Hot inflation hurts both gold and BTC. A cool print could help both.
XAUT tracks gold, which is near $4,145 after three straight down sessions. It’s about 26% below its January high of $5,602.
🔹 Support: $4,100-$4,115 🔹 Resistance: $4,200-$4,220, rejected twice this week 🔹 Pressure: 10-year yield ~5.2%, with oil-driven inflation fears
Link to BTC: both react to yields and the dollar. 🔹 Hot CPI = higher rate-hike odds, so pressure on both 🔹 Cool CPI = relief for both 🔹 They can split. After July’s CPI, gold broke higher while BTC fell.
🧘♂️ My plan: wait for the CPI reaction before trading XAUT or BTC, then trade small with a stop-loss.

Down ~34% on the week after a spike to ~$0.051, now sitting near $0.030, right on its 7-day low.
🔹 Support: ~$0.030. Losing it opens new lows. 🔹 Upside: reclaiming $0.051 would need strong volume. 🔹 Plan: don’t catch the falling knife. Wait for a hold above $0.030, with a stop-loss.
Tomorrow’s inflation number could move crypto, so size your trades carefully.
What is CPI?
It measures how fast prices are rising in the US. The Fed uses it to decide on interest rates.
Why crypto cares:
🔹 Higher inflation = higher rates and a stronger dollar. That usually hurts BTC and ETH. 🔹 Lower inflation = relief. Crypto often rallies.
The numbers:
🔹 Release: Wednesday, Oct 14, at 8:30 a.m. ET 🔹 Forecast: 3.7% yearly, up from 3.4% 🔹 The Fed already raised rates in September, and more hikes are possible
$BTC is near $84K, waiting for the result.
🧘♂️ My plan: I’m not opening big trades before the release. Prices can swing fast in both directions, so I’d wait for the first reaction, then trade smaller.
The rally is resting, and $240 is the line that matters.
🔹 Price: ~$244, well below its ~$374 peak 🔹 Support: $240, then $237 and $220 🔹 Resistance: $251, then $255-$258
My hints: ✅ Don’t chase green candles under $255 ✅ A close above $258 on strong volume is the first sign buyers are back ⚠️ A close below $237 opens $220, and deeper support sits near $179 ✅ Keep size small and set a stop-loss first
Bitcoin Options Just Got the Cheapest in 5 Years. Here’s What That Tells Me 🎯
$BTC | The market expects calm. Calm can end fast.
Near-term implied volatility is down to 33.5%, a five-year low, according to 10x Research. It’s also more than 4 points below real price swings, so protection is cheap.
🔹 Traders are buying October puts at $78K and $80K 🔹 The biggest single trade was $204M 🔹 10x says this is hedging, not a bearish bet. Most traders are still long. 🔹 BTC’s volatility index is struggling to move above 40%
👉 My view: low volatility means few traders are pricing in a big move. That’s when surprises hurt most. Earlier this year, quiet stretches like this were followed by sharp swings.
I’m not scared. I’m just not relaxed. $84K is the level I’m watching, and CPI on Oct 14 is the next test.
💬 Is the calm a sign of strength, or the quiet before a big move? 👇
Up ~20% to ~$0.074, more than double its April level. Starknet is exploring its own Layer 1 with quantum-safe security by 2027, and long traders are leading the move.
Holding above $0.07 keeps the trend strong.

$XRP Ledger Had a Bug That Could Print XRP. It’s Fixed, and That’s the Real Story 🛡️
This is a security win, not a scare.
🔹 A 2015-era payment bug could have created spendable XRP beyond the 100B cap 🔹 A researcher reported it Sept 22, and the fix (xrpld 3.4.1) shipped three days later 🔹 80%+ of validators upgraded within 24 hours 🔹 RippleX found no evidence it was ever exploited
Bugs exist in every network. What matters is how fast they get found and fixed. A bounty report, a patch in three days, and near-full validator adoption is how you want this to go.
It sat there for about 10 years, and it was disclosed only after the fix.
💬 Does fast patching build your trust in $XRP , or does a decade-old bug worry you? 👇
$SOL Solana Just Went From 400ms to 200ms. Here's the Part Nobody's Talking About ⚡
This is a bet on speed. Speed has a price.
Epoch 1053 is the final step of a seven-week rollout that started in August. That's five block chances per second, up from 2.5.
What I like:
🔹 Faster updates for traders and apps 🔹 Less room to exploit stale prices
What I'm watching:
🔹 Each block now holds less (30M compute units, down from 37.5M) 🔹 Wallets and apps have a shorter window to land transactions 🔹 Validators face more pressure on their connections
My view: faster is only better if the network stays stable. If it does, SOL's case as trading infrastructure gets stronger.
💬 Is speed what SOL needed most, or is stability the real test? 👇
21.5% of All Bitcoin $BTC Is Sitting Behind Exposed Keys. Here’s What You Can Do 🔐
If you reuse addresses, you’re making your own coins easier to track and a bigger target. The fix is free.
🔹 Glassnode: 4.33M BTC sits in reused addresses, about 21.5% of supply 🔹 That’s up from 3.79M a year ago 🔹 Including older address types, 6.26M BTC (31.2%) has visible public keys 🔹 Exchanges hold about 1.79M BTC of that
This isn’t a “Bitcoin is broken” story. Bitcoin itself works fine. It’s a habit problem, and habits are fixable.
My to-do list: ✅ Use a fresh receiving address every time ✅ Move coins from reused addresses to new ones ✅ Use a wallet that rotates addresses automatically
💬 Honest question: do you reuse addresses, or have you never thought about it? 👇
$SOL Solana Is Doubling Its Speed Today, and the Price Isn’t the Story ⚡
This is the kind of upgrade that matters more over months than hours.
From 400ms to 200ms. Five blocks per second, with a final step landing around 15:00 UTC today.
My take: 🔹 Faster blocks mean fresher prices and less room for arbitrage games 🔹 It helps trading apps and payments feel instant 🔹 Validators carry the cost, so I’m watching network stability closely
Speed upgrades don’t pump charts overnight. But they build the case for $SOL as real trading and payment infrastructure.
💬 Does faster actually make SOL more valuable, or is it already priced in? 👇
$ETH Is Back Above $2,500. The Real Test Starts Now 🔄
Reclaiming $2,500 is a good sign, but it only counts if ETH holds it.
🔹 Price: ~$2,500, up 2.65% today 🔹 Context: ETH dipped below this level after a sharp drop, so this is a reclaim, not a fresh breakout 🔹 Support: $2,500, the line bulls need to defend 🔹 Resistance: $2,550, then the $2,650-$2,700 zone 🔹 Tailwind: Q3 gains of ~70% and steady ETF demand
I like the bounce, but I want a daily close above $2,550 before I trust it. Another rejection here would tell me sellers are still in charge.
💬 Real reclaim or just a relief bounce? Where’s your line in the sand? 👇
$ZEC 's Momentum Just Flipped. Here's How I'm Reading It 🔍
The uptrend is intact, but short-term momentum has clearly cooled. I'm watching, not chasing.
🔹 Price: ~$1,325, about 22% below the recent $1,700 peak 🔹 Structure: lower highs and lower lows since the top 🔹 RSI: slipped below 50, so bullish momentum has faded 🔹 ETF: first week of net outflows since launch (~$93M) 🔹 Big picture: still far above its key moving averages after rising from ~$500 in August
My levels: ✅ Support: $1,280-$1,300. This is the line I care about. ⚠️ Lose it, and a drop toward $1,000 becomes the realistic scenario. ✅ Reclaim ~$1,450 with volume, and I'd call the correction over.
Strong rallies need resets. The question is whether this is one.
💬 A healthy correction, or the start of something deeper? Where are you buying? 👇
$XRP ETFs Hold $1.7B, But the Buying Has Quietly Gone Cold 🧊
Weekly inflows just fell about 94%, from $75M to under $5M. Still 12 straight weeks of green, but the momentum is fading.
I'm not bearish on this. Streaks matter, and institutions aren't dumping. But holdings alone won't move price. $XRP needs fresh demand, and $1.55 is the level I'm watching.
💬 Pause before the next leg, or the momentum is gone? 👇
