The release of the U.S. labor market report for October triggered a sharp move in Bitcoin. The economy added 165,000 jobs, nearly triple analysts’ expectations of 59,000, while the unemployment rate fell to 4.1%, compared with the forecast of 4.2%. September’s figures were also revised up by 31,000 jobs.
A strong labor market gives the Federal Reserve (Fed) room to maintain tight monetary policy for longer, which typically puts pressure on risk assets. Bitcoin’s immediate reaction was a sharp drop from $76,000 to $75,200, after which it recovered almost all of its losses. The previous day, Bitcoin had already fallen from $81,000 to a multi-month low of $75,100 following a post-election rally, before partially recovering to $76,000.
For traders, this is a sign that volatility remains high: reactions to macroeconomic data can be instantaneous and go in either direction. In the past, Bitcoin fell after the August report but surged after the September report. $BTC $WOO $AKE
$MIRA currently looks interesting specifically from the perspective of recovery after a major drop.
📌 Price: ~$0.05 📌 MCap: ~$17–18M 📌 Supply: ~358M 📌 ATL: ~$0.035 📌 From ATL: about +40% 📌 24H volume: ~$2–3M and a noticeable increase in activity
The key thing is that volume is starting to return at the same time as market cap is rising. This is already more interesting than coins that just suddenly pump without volume confirmation.
🔥 If the alt market starts to run again, small projects like $MIRA can have significantly higher movement potential than large coins.
But for now, it’s more important to watch for consolidation above the current range and for further volume growth.
$MIRA — not a pump yet, but an early stage of recovery. 👀
