XRP has been taking it easy this week: over the past 7 days, it’s drifted from 1.33 to 1.34, up just 0.2%. But today it suddenly woke up—up about 2.9% in 24 hours, with the current price around 1.337, bouncing back a bit from its intraday low of 1.291.
Bitcoin $BTC is also hovering around 81,000, and this XRP move looks like it’s following suit and stretching its legs. After a long stretch of sideways trading, it’s easy to write it off as a “dead fish”—turns out it was just gathering strength.
The chart shows hourly closing prices over the past 7 days, with a high around 1.399 and a low around 1.255. The price swings have actually been pretty significant.
BTC and ETH are still dozing ahead of the rate decision ($BTC 24h +0.8%, $ETH +1%), while the privacy-coin old-timer $ZEC has secretly gotten up for a morning run: now trading around 1306, up 5.6% over 24h, with 150 million U+ in trading volume—second only to BTC and ETH on the spot leaderboard.
But don’t get carried away just yet: a month ago, it was hovering around 1540. Along the way, a wick plunged to 1049; now it’s climbed back about 24% from the bottom, but is still roughly 15% below the start of the month. 1326 is today’s high—let’s see if it can hold there.
My take: the privacy-coin sector steals the spotlight whenever there’s a hint of a breeze, but its volatility is truly “private”—you never know where the next wick will strike. Fine to watch the show, but manage your position size.

$ETH This week has been like riding an elevator: last week it was still hovering around 2,450, then slid all the way down to just above 2,280—about -4.5% over 7 days. Today it finally caught its breath, up +1.4% over 24 hours and back around 2,348, like it got up off the floor and brushed itself off 😂
$BTC ETH has been relatively steady, just above 80,000 and up a modest 1%. Over the past week, ETH has looked noticeably more timid, with a pretty wide range between a high of 2,526 and a low of 2,282.
My personal take: the rebound is just getting started, so don't rush to call it a “comeback of the king.” First, let's see if it can hold above 2,350. This is just my personal opinion and not investment advice. #ETH #CryptoMarketWatch
【This Week’s Macro Calendar: Fed Decision, GDP and PCE Released in the Same Week】 The Federal Reserve’s official calendar shows that the FOMC meeting will be held on October 27–28. The decision is scheduled for October 28 at 14:00 Eastern Time, or October 29 at 02:00 Beijing Time; the press conference is at 02:30 Beijing Time. The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis is scheduled to release its advance estimate of third-quarter GDP, along with the September Personal Income and Outlays report (including PCE price data), on October 29 at 08:30 Eastern Time, or 20:30 Beijing Time that day. My take: These are scheduled releases whose results are not yet available. Risk assets such as BTC and ETH may be volatile around the releases. Check the actual figures, revisions and Fed wording separately; do not infer price direction from the calendar alone. Checked: Around 08:00 Beijing Time on October 26, 2026. 【Early-morning market divergence: NEAR rises, ADA edges down】 Binance price page snapshot: NEAR at around $4.57, up 3.10% over 24 hours, with a range of $4.36–$4.68; ADA at around $0.2054, down 0.48% over 24 hours, with a range of $0.2024–$0.2090. Their 24-hour percentage changes differ by about 3.58 percentage points. My observation: NEAR is up, but still below its 24-hour high; ADA has mostly traded within a narrow range. Whether this divergence continues will depend on trading volume in the new trading day and the performance of risk assets. A single snapshot cannot indicate what comes next. 【Midnight market snapshot: BTC and ETH both post positive 24-hour gains】 Binance’s price pages show BTC at approximately $80,561.60, up 1.54% over 24 hours, with a range of $79,485.25–$80,928.27; ETH at approximately $2,344.67, up 2.17%, with a range of $2,292.36–$2,367.92. Across these two snapshots, ETH’s 24-hour gain was 0.63 percentage points higher than BTC’s.
My observation: Both have returned to the upper half of their respective 24-hour ranges, but remain some distance from their highs. Whether the short-term rebound can continue will depend on subsequent trading volume and how risk assets perform in the new trading day; a single snapshot cannot determine the direction.

【Important Reminder: EPIC and QUICK Spot Trading Will Be Delisted on October 28】Earlier this morning, I mentioned EPIC’s price volatility. Here’s an important event to note: Binance announced on October 14 that it plans to stop trading all EPIC and QUICK spot trading pairs and remove the relevant pairs at 11:00 Beijing time on October 28. Any unfilled spot orders will be automatically canceled at that time. This is a previously announced delisting, not a prediction of price direction. Prices and liquidity may fluctuate as the delisting approaches. Anyone holding these assets should check Binance’s latest announcements for details on trading, deposits, and withdrawals. 【Weekend market divergence: BNB up about 1%, SOL edges lower】 A snapshot of Binance’s price pages shows BNB at about $744.23, up 1.07% over 24 hours, with a range of $718.09–$747.45; SOL at about $101.56, down 0.58% over 24 hours, with a range of $98.80–$102.58. Their performances diverged, with BNB closer to its 24-hour high. My observation: These are price snapshots from different times and cannot be used to determine what direction prices will take next. Weekend market conditions may continue to change; watch whether prices remain near the top of their ranges and whether trading volume supports the move. 【Next week’s tech earnings schedule: Microsoft and Amazon take the stage】 Microsoft’s official announcement: Its FY27 first-quarter results will be released after the market closes on October 28 Eastern Time. The earnings call will be held at 14:30 Pacific Time that day, or 05:30 on October 29 Beijing Time. Amazon’s official announcement: Its third-quarter 2026 earnings call is scheduled for 14:00 Pacific Time on October 29, or 05:00 on October 30 Beijing Time. My take: The market may focus on cloud business growth, AI investment, and profit margins, but the earnings have not yet been released, so expectations should not be mistaken for results. Today is Sunday and U.S. markets are closed; this article does not use real-time stock prices. For specific figures, refer to the companies’ announcements when they are released. 【Binance Spot Gainers to Watch: BMT up over 76%, EPIC up over 30%】
At approximately 04:01–04:02 Beijing time on October 25, BMT/USDT on Binance Spot was around 0.03849, up 76.08% over 24 hours, with a range of 0.02183–0.05144 and trading volume of approximately 58.07 million USDT; EPIC/USDT was around 0.1550, up 30.25%, with a range of 0.1090–0.1835 and trading volume of approximately 2.91 million USDT.
My observations: Although BMT has risen sharply, it is now notably below its 24-hour high. EPIC’s trading volume is relatively low, so its price may be more prone to fluctuations. Both have a Seed tag, and EPIC also has a Watch tag. Short-term gains do not indicate future direction; it may be worth monitoring the size of any pullback and whether trading volume holds up.

【Weekend Market Watch: BTC falls below $80,000, ETH drops further】
A snapshot of Binance’s price pages shows BTC at approximately $79,472.60, down 2.33% over 24 hours, with a range of $79,145.54–$81,744.30; ETH at approximately $2,290.02, down 4.67% over 24 hours, with a range of $2,280.55–$2,410.68. The two snapshots were taken 15 minutes apart. At the time, ETH’s 24-hour decline was about 2.34 percentage points greater than BTC’s.
My observation: Both are near their respective 24-hour lows, and short-term volatility may increase. Going forward, it may be worth watching whether they return to the middle of their ranges and how trading volume changes; a single snapshot cannot indicate what direction prices will take next.

【Binance Spot Leaders to Watch: ERA Up Over 35%, ARK Up Nearly 15%】
At around 12:31–12:33 Beijing time on October 24, Binance’s Market Overview listed ERA among the top gainers. Spot ERA/USDT was around 0.0915, up 35.56% over 24 hours, with a range of 0.0666–0.0980 and trading volume of approximately 18.78 million USDT; ARK/USDT was around 0.2154, up 14.76%, with a range of 0.1857–0.2421 and trading volume of approximately 11.63 million USDT.
My observation: Both have posted substantial gains, and ERA is close to its 24-hour high. However, rankings and gains can change with market conditions, so this alone does not indicate that the upward trend will continue. Going forward, it may be worth watching whether trading volume holds up and whether prices remain within their ranges during pullbacks.

【BTC and ETH return to the middle of their 24-hour ranges: both down less than 1%】
Between 08:01 and 08:02 Beijing time on October 24, BTC/USDT on Binance Spot was around 81,181.25, down 0.21% over 24 hours, with a range of 80,513.00–82,060.88 and trading volume of approximately 1.016 billion USDT; ETH/USDT was around 2,387.36, down 0.04%, with a range of 2,351.55–2,417.77 and trading volume of approximately 517 million USDT.
My observation: Both assets’ 24-hour price changes are close to zero, with ETH down slightly less. Current prices are between their respective 24-hour highs and lows; a single point in time cannot indicate a direction. Going forward, it may be worth watching whether prices test the range boundaries and how trading volume changes.

【Final U.S. Consumer Sentiment Reading: 48.0; Inflation Expectations Rise】
The University of Michigan reported that the final U.S. Consumer Sentiment Index for October was 48.0, essentially unchanged from 48.1 in September. The Current Conditions Index was 46.7 (50.9 in September), while the Expectations Index was 48.8 (46.3 in September). One-year inflation expectations rose from 4.6% to 4.7%, and long-term inflation expectations increased from 3.4% to 3.5%.
My observations: Overall sentiment changed little, but current conditions weakened and inflation expectations rose, potentially making the interest-rate outlook harder to assess. A single survey cannot directly indicate the price direction of BTC or ETH; future analysis should also consider official inflation data and Federal Reserve decisions.

【NVIDIA launches OpenShell: AI agent security architecture extends to the hardware layer】 On October 21, U.S. Eastern Time, NVIDIA announced the OpenShell reference architecture: Vera Rubin handles model inference, Vera CPUs support agent execution, and BlueField-4 DPUs provide monitoring and security boundaries. The official announcement listed partners including Microsoft and said the architecture is now available. My observation: This indicates that NVIDIA is incorporating security governance for AI agents into its full infrastructure stack. The key things to watch next are actual enterprise deployments, delivery, and commercial revenue; the product announcement alone does not indicate which way the stock will move. 【PEPE joins Binance’s Top Gainers: pulls ahead of DOGE】 At around 20:11–20:13 Beijing time on October 23, Binance Market Overview listed PEPE among the top gainers. Spot PEPE/USDT was around 0.00000504, up 12.00% over 24 hours, with a range of 0.00000433–0.00000511 and trading volume of approximately 75.59 million USDT; DOGE/USDT was around 0.08007, up 0.96%, with a range of 0.07785–0.08069 and trading volume of approximately 43.36 million USDT. My observation: Both belong to the MEME sector, but their 24-hour gains have diverged significantly. PEPE is near the top of its range, but its ranking at a single point in time does not mean the rally will continue; it may be worth watching changes in trading volume and whether it tests the high repeatedly. 【BTC and ETH both pull back: ETH’s 24-hour decline is slightly larger】 At 15:58–15:59 Beijing time on October 23, Binance spot BTC/USDT was around 81,566.35, down 0.80% over 24 hours, with a range of 80,939.54–82,267.79 and trading volume of about 1.278 billion USDT; ETH/USDT was around 2,400.92, down 1.19% over 24 hours, with a range of 2,360.32–2,430.65 and trading volume of about 740 million USDT. My observation: Both declined, with ETH’s drop slightly larger; however, both BTC and ETH remain above their respective 24-hour lows. Next, watch whether prices retest those lows and whether trading volume picks up. This is only a market snapshot at a single point in time and should not be used to infer future direction. 【IBM Q3: Revenue Up 5%, Cash Flow Improves】 IBM announced its third-quarter 2026 results on October 21 (U.S. Eastern Time): revenue was $17.1 billion, up 5% year over year; software revenue was $7.8 billion, up 8%; and free cash flow was approximately $3.0 billion, an increase of about $700 million year over year. The company maintained its expectation of 4%–5% full-year revenue growth at constant currency and expects full-year free cash flow to increase by more than $1 billion year over year. My take: Software growth and improved cash flow are highlights, but the GAAP gross margin fell 0.5 percentage points year over year to 56.8%. Going forward, we’ll need to watch whether software revenue growth, margins, and cash flow can be sustained; one quarter’s results alone do not indicate which way the stock will move. 【U.S. Weekly Jobless Claims: Initial Claims Fall, Continuing Claims Rise】 The U.S. Department of Labor reported at 08:30 ET on October 22: For the week ending October 17, seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims totaled 194,000, down 6,000 from the prior week's revised 200,000. The prior week's figure was revised up from 199,000 to 200,000. The four-week average was 197,750, down 1,000. For the week ending October 10, continuing claims totaled 1.728 million, up 25,000 from the prior week's revised figure. My take: The decline in initial claims suggests that new unemployment claims have not yet risen significantly, but the increase in continuing claims means the reemployment picture warrants continued attention. A single weekly report is not enough to determine the Fed's policy or the future direction of BTC and ETH; upcoming employment and inflation data are also worth watching. 【TIA and AAVE among the biggest decliners: watching lows and trading activity】 At 20:08–20:09 Beijing time on October 22, Binance spot TIA/USDT was around 0.5747, down 7.26% over 24 hours, with a range of 0.5684–0.6471 and trading volume of about 12.98 million USDT. AAVE/USDT was around 147.23, down 5.56% over 24 hours, with a range of 147.00–160.55 and trading volume of about 17.21 million USDT. My observation: Both are near their respective 24-hour lows, and TIA has fallen further. Next, watch whether prices continue moving away from the lows and how trading volume changes; a drop at a single point in time does not prove which direction prices will move next.
