SPCX fell from $176 to $116—many people ask me: do you still think SPCX is bearish now?
My answer is:
In the short term, it’s still slightly bearish, but I won’t go after the last penny.
I won’t keep rolling over shorts to open new ones. The short positions I currently hold will be kept for now—I’m not in a hurry to close them.
Once the direction is correct, be brave and use profits to make even more profit.
But,
The biggest mistake the market makes is turning trading into a belief.
I’ve been bearish all along—not because of SpaceX as a company, but because of the market expectations and valuation that had been far too stretched back then.
Over this period, from Starship test flights hitting setbacks, to dilution concerns brought by AI acquisitions, to the market’s re-pricing as lock-up period unlock expectations emerged—share prices have kept falling.
From a trend perspective, the logic behind this round of decline has basically played out.
But the closer we get to this point, the more cautious I become.
Because negative news gets digested by the market.
When everyone starts agreeing on being bearish, and negative catalysts land one after another, it often means the profits that are truly worth shorting are becoming fewer and fewer.
My principles have never changed:
✅ If the trend is in place, trade with the trend.
✅ When the trend ends, exit promptly.
✅ Don’t try to predict the absolute bottom, and don’t chase the last penny.
If later SPCX experiences another quick drop, I would actually start gradually covering my short positions and waiting for a new opportunity, instead of continuing this long fight.
Those who truly live in the market long-term never profit from every single cent.
Instead, they take the most certain middle segment of the trend, leaving the hardest and most dangerous final stretch to others.
Trading isn’t about who makes the most—it’s about who stays alive longer.$SPCX
