Hello #venezuela I have been analyzing this currency, paxg, for several weeks. It turns out that each of its tokens represents one ounce of physical gold of quality, and for each PAXG token there is one ounce of gold in high-security vaults in London.
The company in charge of safeguarding this gold is Paxos Trust Company, which is a regulated company in the United States that undergoes monthly audits to ensure that the amount of PAXG in circulation matches the amount of physical gold they safeguard.
In the last few weeks, I have been seeing this cryptocurrency as a real investment bridge, since gold is one of the most valuable assets in the world. Obviously, it is better to have physical gold, but here in Venezuela, or at least in my area, I am not interested in exposing myself to theft and losing a large part of my money.
I have already done my homework, I found it to be a good currency, and yesterday I invested part of my income and I have seen, from yesterday to today, I have gained something, even if it is just cents. Obviously, like any asset or cryptocurrency, there can be corrections that cause the price to drop, but I see this more as a source of long-term savings rather than medium or short-term.
