1️⃣ AI agents will push everyday payments onchain. Banks stop at weekends. Stablecoins don't.
2️⃣ Idle stablecoins will be expected to earn. Right now Tether keeps the Treasury yield on $USDT and holders get nothing.
3️⃣ Yield assets only scale once lending markets accept them, like syrupUSDC on Kamino. 4️⃣ Every new asset coming onchain needs someone who knows credit to underwrite it. 5️⃣ Banks will back stablecoins widely within five years.
My take? We've seen this film before. In the 1970s, banks capped deposit rates, money market funds paid more, and the cash walked. Same dollars, new rails.
