Look, I’m not buying the idea that one payroll number can explain the entire US economy.

September hiring is expected around 90K after August surprised with 162K jobs, while unemployment is expected to hold near 4.1%.

But here’s the catch: the headline is only the first draft. Payroll figures get revised, and recent revisions have already changed the story of previous months.

The deeper signal is employer behaviour. Job openings recently fell to 7.079M, while weekly unemployment claims stayed near 197K. That suggests something more complicated than a simple boom-or-bust economy: companies appear cautious about expanding, but they are not aggressively cutting workers.

For crypto, that matters because NFP feeds directly into rate expectations, yields, liquidity and risk appetite.

A weak number could support easier-policy hopes. A strong number could reinforce higher-for-longer fears.

But don’t confuse the first reaction with the real story.

Watch wages, participation, revisions and hiring composition.

That’s where the signal gets harder to fake.

15m chart is showing a sharp breakout from the 1.14 area, with price now holding around 1.24. The main thing I’m watching is whether 1.24 stays supported after the spike.

TP: $1.250 – $1.255 – $1.260 – $1.2663 – $1.2738

SL: $1.2085

Price is sitting above the 7 MA at 1.2396, while the previous high at 1.2663 is the obvious resistance. A pullback that holds around the current area would keep this setup interesting; losing 1.2085 would weaken the structure.
