Fellow Binancians, Binance is preparing to resume phase one of withdrawals on 2026-11-01 between 06:00 and 09:00 (UTC). Since the incident, our teams have taken precautionary measures to safeguard the platform, conducted security assessments, and worked to verify the readiness of affected services. We aim to restore withdrawals progressively as we complete security and readiness checks. Deposit services remain open and are not affected by the incident. We understand the concern and disruption the suspension has caused. Restoring access to your funds is a priority, and we are taking a controlled approach to do so safely. We will continue to monitor closely as services return in phases. As we have said throughout this incident: user funds remain safe. Binance will absorb the financial impact of the stolen funds, not our users. Withdrawal Services Resuming in Phases The rollout will be in phases. Phase one will include the following networks and assets which are available for withdrawals progressively. We will share updates via our official X channel. NetworkAsset(s)BTCBTCETHETH, USDT, USDCBSCBNB, USDT, USDCTRXTRX, USDTSOLSOL, USDT, USDCXRPXRPZECZECDOGEDOGETONUSDT, GRAMMATIC (Polygon)POL, USDT, USDCAVAXCAVAX, USDT, USDCARBITRUMETH, USDT, USDC, ARBBASEETH, USDCOP (Optimism)ETH, USDT, USDCSUISUI We are taking a phased approach by prioritizing tokens based on the past week data of user demand, so that each network and asset pair can be restored carefully, with stability and security checks completed before access is reopened. These listed networks and assets above will become available when this first phase of withdrawals resumes, and additional networks and assets will be added once they are ready. Please check the withdrawal page for your selected asset and network, or visit our network status page, to confirm availability. During the initial rollout, users may experience temporary delays or longer processing times due to traffic volume. If a withdrawal for a network or tokens listed above doesn’t go through, you can try again after a short while. This is expected during a phased rollout. We will continue to monitor network and platform performance closely. Why Withdrawals Were Temporarily Paused at the Earlier Stages of the Security Incident Withdrawals were temporarily suspended as a precaution while our teams worked to contain the incident loss, assess its impact, restore affected services, and complete security checks. We did not take this decision lightly. We understand how important reliable access to withdrawals is for our users. However, our priority was to protect users, safeguard the platform, and complete the necessary security checks before restoring services. During this period, our teams have: Conducting enhanced security reviews of affected services;Assessing withdrawal infrastructure and verifying its operational readiness;Working with law enforcement and industry partners to trace and recover stolen funds;Replenishing affected assets using company resources;Monitoring for residual risks. Our recovery commitment remains unchanged. As shared in our previous update, Binance had already covered approximately 90% of the impacted amount, up from approximately 80% in the prior update. All BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC balances are fully backed 100%. You can verify our proof of reserves snapshot on the PoR website. We continue purchasing the remaining affected assets through market and OTC channels. Binance has now covered approximately 95% of the impacted amount, up from 90% in our prior update. The outstanding 5% are tokens outside the top ten listed above, and are less liquid in the market and take longer time to source at the required scale. To Our Users, Partners, and the Broader Industry We recognize how difficult this period has been for our users and the broader Binance community. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued trust as our teams worked through this incident with the seriousness it required. We also thank our industry partners for acting quickly to help freeze assets and trace stolen funds. We will continue working closely with them and with law enforcement to support recovery efforts and hold those responsible accountable. Once the investigation is complete, we will publish a post-incident report with further details on the incident. Resuming withdrawals is a major milestone, but our work continues. We will continue strengthening our safeguards, completing the recovery process, and providing updates as progress continues. Our commitment remains unchanged: Binance will bear the financial impact of the stolen funds. These losses will not be passed on to users. Thank you for being part of the Binance community. Thank you for your support! Binance Team 2026-11-01
October 2026: Bitcoin Turned 18, Binance Got Hacked, and Uptober Failed — What It Means for November Bitcoin's 18th birthday landed in the same week as the biggest crypto hack ever. Here's what the data says about November, and the 6 wallet checks I'm doing this weekend 👇 The hook On paper, October was supposed to be the easy month. "Uptober" was green in 10 of 13 years from 2013 to 2025. This year, BTC opened October at about $83,624 and is trading around $77,490 as I write. That's roughly -7.3% with hours to go. If it closes like this, it'll be the first time Bitcoin has had two red Octobers in a row. So let's slow down and look at what actually happened. ## Bitcoin at 18 Today, October 31, is 18 years since Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin whitepaper. Quick timeline: - Oct 31, 2008: the whitepaper "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" goes out - Jan 3, 2009: the genesis block is mined - May 22, 2010: Laszlo Hanyecz pays 10,000 BTC for two pizzas - Oct 6, 2025: all-time high around $126K - Today: about $77,490, roughly 38% below that peak Pizza math at today's price: - 10,000 BTC × $77,490 ≈ $775 million - That works out to about $387 million per pizza Eighteen years in, Bitcoin has made it through exchange collapses, bans, and several 70%+ drawdowns. This week tested that track record again. ## What happened in October Price (CoinGecko, Oct 31): - BTC: ~$77,490 (October open ~$83,624, about -7.3% month to date) - ETH: ~$2,247 (about -17% over 30 days) - BNB: ~$705 - October high: about $87,220 on Oct 2. October low: about $76,500 on Binance after the hack. Macro: - On Oct 28 the Fed held rates at 3.75%–4.00%. The vote was 10–2, and the two dissenters wanted a hike, not a cut. - BTC bounced to around $81K after the decision, then slipped back under $80K. The Binance hack, in plain words: - Starting around 20:05 UTC on Oct 29, an attacker drained Binance hot wallets. - Binance's first finding: a compromised DevOps engineer's laptop let the attacker into a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawals. Binance says it has found no evidence that wallet private keys leaked. - Estimated impact: about $6.3B. That makes it the largest crypto theft on record. - About $3B has been frozen on-chain with help from issuers and partners. Tether froze more than 1.5B USDT, and CZ put Circle's USDC freeze at about $823M. - Binance says it will cover all losses from SAFU and company funds, and has set aside more than $6.34B. About $5B (≈80%) is already held in the same tokens that were stolen. It is buying the rest. - Withdrawals are paused and deposits still work. The plan is a phased reopening around Sunday, Nov 1, but only after security checks pass. ## What the data says Sentiment - Crypto Fear & Greed Index: 30 (Fear), down from 51 just before the hack - Santiment's BTC social sentiment fell to 0.22 bullish comments for every bearish one, possibly a record low US demand - Coinbase Premium hit -0.27% on Oct 29, the lowest since November 2022 (the FTX period), per CryptoQuant. It's still around -0.21% today. - In plain words: US buyers are currently paying less than offshore buyers. ETF flows - Spot BTC ETFs: -$643.2M on Fri Oct 30, the biggest daily outflow since June - BTC ETFs ended October at roughly -$516M for the month - Spot ETH ETFs: -$431.4M over five straight outflow days (Oct 26–30) Whales and holders - Santiment: wallets holding 10–10,000 BTC added ~100,000 BTC since Sept 19 - 22,317 BTC and ~324,820 ETH left exchanges on Oct 29, likely people moving to self-custody - CoinDesk reports the hacker holds about 18,270 BTC, which, unlike stablecoins, can't be frozen. That's a supply overhang worth tracking. Santiment made a point I agree with: extreme fear is usually a contrarian signal, but a hack this size has no clean historical comparison. So I'm reading these as context, not a trigger. ## Wallet-safety checklist for this weekend When withdrawals reopen, scammers show up. Expect fake "claim your compensation" and "verify your account" messages. 1. Binance will not DM you asking for a seed phrase, password, or 2FA code. Anyone who does is a scammer. 2. Type the URL yourself or use the official app. Don't click links in emails, SMS, Telegram, or X replies. 3. Check announcements only on Binance's official announcement page and its verified X account. 4. There is no "refund form" that needs a wallet connection. Never sign approvals or permits to "recover" funds. 5. Review your token approvals and remove anything you don't recognize. 6. Don't rush withdrawals. Expect queues in a phased reopening. Do one small test transaction first, and double-check the network and address. ## What to watch in November - Nov 1: October monthly candle closes (00:00 UTC) - Nov 1: Binance's target for starting the phased withdrawal reopening (subject to security checks) - By Mon Nov 2: Binance Proof of Reserves results. CoinDesk estimates ETH backing may have dipped to ~94% after the theft, so this report should show whether the gap has been filled. - Nov 3: US midterm elections - Nov 6: US jobs report (October data) - Nov 10: US CPI (October data) - Ongoing: the technical post-mortem, recovery of frozen funds, and where the hacker's ~18K BTC goes - Next FOMC: Dec 8–9. There's no Fed meeting in November, so the jobs and CPI data will drive rate expectations. Some context, not a forecast: after the three previous red Octobers, November was mixed. It was up in 2014 and down hard in 2018 and 2025. ## My read I'm not treating this as a reason to panic or a signal to buy. To me, the big question for November is trust, more than price. If Binance reopens withdrawals smoothly and the PoR report shows full backing, a lot of the fear in these numbers could ease. If either slips, the market will price that in quickly. Either way, I'm keeping my risk small, my keys in my own wallets, and my attention on the Nov 2 report and the Nov 6 and Nov 10 data. At 18 years old, Bitcoin has seen worse weeks. That doesn't make this one less serious. This is not financial advice. Do your own research. What's your plan for this week: withdrawing, holding, or waiting for the Proof of Reserves report? The crypto market never sleeps. While some people wait for the perfect moment, others are busy preparing for the next opportunity. 👀
💎 Remember these 5 rules in crypto:
🔹 Don’t invest money you can’t afford to lose. 🔹 Do your own research before buying any token. 🔹 Don’t let FOMO control your decisions. 🔹 Take profits when your strategy tells you to. 🔹 Stay patient. Wealth is rarely built overnight.
📈 The biggest opportunities often come with uncertainty. The key isn’t predicting every market move — it’s managing risk, staying disciplined, and being ready when opportunities appear.
💭 One question for the crypto community:
Are you accumulating, holding, or waiting for the next big move?
$SPCX Everyone makes different choices, has different perspectives, and plays different roles or adopts different personas. To each their own. But I really do love playing Binance mobile games. No matter what others say, surround yourself with people who see the good in you. Take good care of yourself, and everything around you will be better.
The market is moving sideways and slightly weaker: BTC is holding above $81K, but altcoins are still being sold, and money continues to flow out of ETFs. 1. BTC moves sideways, while ETH is weaker. BTC is around $81,100, up 0.4% over 24 hours and trading in the $80.8K–$82.2K range. ETH is around $2,365, down 2%. 24-hour liquidations fell to about $359 million (78% were long positions), much lower than the roughly $937 million on October 15. What narrative are you most bullish on right now: BTC, AI, DeFi, RWA, or DePIN? 👇
The cryptocurrency market entered October 14, 2026, with a cautious mood as Bitcoin and Ethereum had just experienced sharp volatility. Selling pressure from tech stocks, ETF fund flows, and U.S. inflation data are becoming key factors that could shape the short-term crypto trend. 🔥 1. BITCOIN (BTC) – THE BATTLE AROUND $83,000 Bitcoin fell below $81,000 at one point during trading on October 13, before recovering to above $83,000.
The crypto market enters October 13 with several noteworthy factors in play. Bitcoin is hovering around $83,000 after a slight recovery, while Ethereum and altcoins remain under pressure from capital flows and cautious investor sentiment. (Barron’s) 🔥 1. BITCOIN (BTC) – THE MARKET’S FOCAL POINT Bitcoin remains an asset to watch closely as the market seeks new growth drivers. Investors should pay attention to BTC’s reaction around key support and resistance levels, while also monitoring trading volume to assess the strength of the recovery.
🚨 CRYPTO DAILY – 11/10/2026 | MARKET VOLATILITY: ARE OPPORTUNITIES OR RISKS EMERGING?
📉 1. CRYPTO MARKET: SELLING PRESSURE HAS NOT EASED The cryptocurrency market has just experienced a volatile week, with Bitcoin briefly falling below $81,000 before rebounding to above $82,000. Ethereum also faced significant pressure, reflecting investor caution. Several factors are weighing on the market: 🔹 Rising U.S. Treasury yields.
📊 1. Bitcoin (BTC) Bitcoin is trading around the $82,000–$83,000 range amid strong market volatility. Following its rebound, upward momentum still needs to be confirmed by trading volume. 📉 2. Ethereum (ETH) ETH is under pressure around the $2,500 level. Investors should watch for a possible recovery above this price level and monitor market capital flows. 🌍 3. What is affecting the market? • U.S. interest rates and Treasury yields.
🚨 $1.19 BILLION LIQUIDATED – IS THE CRYPTO MARKET ABOUT TO REVERSE OR KEEP FALLING
🔥 CRYPTO DAILY | 09/10/2026 🚨 $1.19 BILLION LIQUIDATED – IS THE CRYPTO MARKET ABOUT TO REVERSE OR KEEP FALLING? 📉 CRYPTO MARKET: OPPORTUNITY OR TRAP? The crypto market is experiencing a period of sharp volatility as Bitcoin weakens, putting selling pressure on many altcoins. Notably, around $1.19 billion in trading positions were liquidated over 24 hours, most of them Long positions. This is a clear warning about the risks of using leverage in a highly volatile market.
BTC is hovering around $83K–$85K, while ETH and SOL are under heavier pressure. The key driver today is macro: a stronger USD, elevated Treasury yields and hawkish Fed minutes are keeping risk assets defensive.
🔑 Levels to watch:
* BTC: $83K = important support * BTC: $86.5K–$87K = breakout/recovery zone * ETH: watching whether buyers can reclaim momentum after the recent sell-off * SOL: still one of the ecosystems worth watching despite short-term weakness
⚡ My take: This isn’t the moment to chase green candles. It’s the moment to watch liquidity, ETF flows, BTC structure and macro.
If BTC can reclaim $87K, momentum could shift quickly. If $83K breaks, the market may need to test lower support around $80K.
Stay patient. Stay liquid. Find the alpha before the crowd. 🧠⚡
BTC is holding around $85K–$86K after another rejection near the $87K resistance. The market is compressing — and volatility may be coming. 📊 (CoinDesk)
🔑 Today’s watchlist: • BTC — Can bulls finally flip $87K into support? • ETH — Watching for a recovery above key resistance • SOL — Staying strong around the $120 area • BNB — Weak short-term, but worth watching for a reversal • AI / DePIN / Memes — Where the next rotation could appear 👀
The bigger picture remains interesting: crypto funds saw strong inflows recently, while Citi raised its 12-month BTC target to $113K and ETH target to $3,028. (Reuters)
⚠️ Macro still matters: Treasury yields, the USD, ETF flows and geopolitical headlines can move the market quickly.
Don’t chase green candles. Find the narrative. Track the liquidity. Wait for confirmation.
BTC is hovering around $86K, up sharply from its recent lows. Notably, Bitcoin has just formed a Golden Cross — a technical signal the market often views as positive for the long-term trend.
📊 Market signals
* ₿ BTC: ~$86K — $87K–$87.5K is an important resistance zone. * Ξ ETH: ~$2.7K — Glamsterdam testnet is worth watching today. * ◎ SOL: continues to maintain strong momentum from its June lows. * 💰 BTC Spot ETFs have recorded inflows for the third consecutive week, while ETH ETFs have returned to net outflows. * 🇺🇸 The CFTC has just proposed a new framework for crypto trading platforms in the U.S., opening up a new discussion around regulatory clarity.
🧠 My take
BTC is still the leader. If BTC reclaims and holds above $87K, the $90K level could become the next psychological target.
But don’t FOMO.
BTC strength → ETH/SOL → high-beta alts → memes.
That’s usually how money rotates when risk appetite returns. 👀
October is still young. Stay patient. Watch liquidity. Find the narrative before the crowd.
October 5, 2026 — Uptober is officially heating up. 🔥
BTC is holding around $85K, while ETH trades near $2.7K and SOL continues to show strength. (TokenPost)
The bigger signal? 🇺🇸 US Spot BTC ETFs started October with strong inflows — more than $134M over the first two trading days, while September recorded about $2.65B of net inflows. (Decrypt)
Macro is also becoming less hostile: weaker US jobs data pushed expectations for an October Fed hike sharply lower, helping risk assets breathe again. (Reuters)
My focus for Q4:
₿ BTC → reclaim resistance & lead the market Ξ ETH → watch institutional flows ◎ SOL → high-beta momentum 🟡 BNB → ecosystem strength 🤖 AI + DePIN → asymmetric opportunities 🐸 Memes → where liquidity gets crazy
The market doesn’t reward people who chase green candles. It rewards people who prepare before the rotation.
October is here — and the market is starting Q4 with a different energy. 🚀
📈 BTC is holding around the $85K zone after a strong Q3 recovery. 🔥 ETH posted one of its strongest quarterly rebounds, while SOL continues to attract attention. 💰 Crypto investment products saw strong capital inflows, showing that institutional appetite hasn’t disappeared. 👀 The key now: can BTC reclaim $86K+ and turn resistance into support?
Q4 could be where patience meets opportunity.
Don’t chase the green candles. Watch liquidity. Watch volume. Watch smart money.
