Zcash surged 47% to $865, reaching its highest level since 2018.
From its June low near $250, ZEC is now up more than 3x.
The rally gained momentum after Grayscale filed to convert its Zcash Trust into a U.S. spot ZEC ETF.
Still, $ZEC remains about 73% below its $3,191 all-time high.

• Russell 2000: -3%

One good month doesn't prove anything. But if $BTC and $ETH keep showing strength the next time tech sells off, it could signal that crypto is starting to trade on its own rather than just moving with tech.
