It came in hotter than expected. Above 3.6%. And the market responded exactly like analysts warned it would.
Bitcoin fell under $81,000. Ethereum under $2,400. About $876 million in long positions liquidated across the market in 24 hours. Roughly 92,000 traders got wiped out in the same period. (Substack)

US stocks suffered their sharpest selloff since July. Bitcoin mining stocks fell as much as 13% — TeraWulf, Core Scientific, Cipher Mining and IREN each lost more than 12% as hotter inflation hit AI infrastructure companies. (Cointelegraph)
South Korea's KOSPI tumbled as much as 8%, triggering a circuit breaker and a 20-minute trading suspension. About $1 trillion was wiped from the US stock market in a single day. (Substack)

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $175.7 million in inflows YESTERDAY — even as prices fell. The White House is actively exploring ways to accumulate more Bitcoin for the US strategic reserve. (Substack)
Bitcoin climbed back toward $84,000 after Fed's Williams said he sees no rate hikes in 2027. (CoinDesk)
So in one day — CPI panic → massive liquidations → Fed official says no 2027 hikes → Bitcoin starts recovering.
