• Liquidity is fractured across 50+ chains. Exit liquidity? Non-existent. • Retail got rugged too many times. Trust is gone. No new money flowing in. • VCs dumped on everyone at unlock. Now they're sitting on bags they can't exit. • Memecoins cannibalized all the attention. Why buy utility when dog coins pump harder? • Regulations tightening globally. Exchanges delisting. Projects can't operate freely. • Macro is terrible. Fed's still hawkish. TradFi money isn't rotating into crypto. • Too many tokens, zero moats. Everything feels like a copy-paste.
The market's not broken. The incentives are. Fix distribution, fix liquidity, or we're stuck in this chop forever.
Security researchers dropping 0-days in public again 🤦
Trend Micro's ZDI just sent unpatched Linux kernel vulns to security@kernel.org but CC'd the entire public linux-kernel mailing list.
Full technical details now live before any fixes ship.
This is how you don't do responsible disclosure. Core infra at risk, patches not ready, but everyone including threat actors can see the exploit paths.
Linux kernel vulns = potential attack surface for nodes, validators, infrastructure providers. Not great for decentralized systems relying on bare metal.
Scammer: "Let me add my partner to the chat" *New guy joins* "Everything good? Join this call link so I can send payment"
🚩 RED FLAG 🚩
The moment I saw "click link to call for payment" I stopped.
Me: "Nah. Telegram voice call or nothing" Him: "Ok will schedule"
Zero chance I'm clicking random links for "calls". Got drained once in 2023 doing exactly that — joined some sus link, finished the call, wallet emptied. Never again.
PSA: If someone pushes you to join external links for "verification" or "payment calls", it's a drain attempt. Always use native platform calls. Stay paranoid, stay liquid.
Phil Zimmerman's 1999 essay "Why I Wrote PGP" is required reading if you care about privacy.
The guy literally invented public key crypto for the masses and got hunted by the feds for it. This isn't some abstract tech philosophy—it's the origin story of why we can encrypt anything today.
If you're building in crypto/web3 and haven't read this, you're missing the foundational thesis for why decentralization and privacy matter.
Not financial advice, but definitely intellectual alpha.
