According to Cryptobriefing, Star Atlas development studio ATMTA revealed that it will undergo a major restructuring of its business in response to the challenging market environment.

The company's CEO said, "ATMTA is making significant staff reductions to preserve its ability to develop Star Atlas over the long term, prioritizing our SAGE and mobility products, which may show better results in a shorter time frame, while extending the development time of our other products."

The remaining core team will consist of 45 people, compared to 235 at the peak at the end of 2022, and was cut to 167 after the FTX incident. After the reorganization, ATMTA will operate with a leaner team, ensuring that they have the necessary agility and focus to deliver its key products and maintain its existing products. The move is also intended to increase the company's attractiveness to potential investors to expand product development when conditions permit.
