On June 25, Andre Cronje, the founder of Fantom, recently published an article on his personal social platform to disclose some recent updates of Fantom. The main contents include: 1. Gas monetization (15% of the gas fee will be subsidized to eligible dApps), and 20,000 FTMs have been subsidized so far; 2. The gas fees earned by the ecosystem treasury have exceeded 500,000 FTMs, and funds can be applied for by creating Fantom governance proposals; 3. The total amount of FTM burned and destroyed has exceeded 10 million; 4. This hackathon attracted 855 teams to participate; 5. An Ethereum client team moved to Fantom and built a new ultra-optimized client, which increased the throughput of early tests by 40%. 6. Through governance, the minimum stake of validators will be reduced to 50,000 FTMs; 7. The next two major milestones will be released soon-Carmen (EVM-optimized database) and Tosca (optimized EVM with a wide range of enhancements)
