According to ChainCatcher, Bitcoin protocol developer funding agency Brink and Bitcoin mining company Marathon Digital have launched a $1 million donation, which will be used to fund the development of Bitcoin Core. Marathon will match the donation twice, up to $500,000. In addition to Bitcoin, this donation also supports credit card donations including Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as stablecoins such as USDC, USDT, and BUSD.
All donations to Brink are 501(c)(3) tax-deductible and will be used to support Bitcoin developers in building, protecting, testing, and reviewing the Bitcoin Core software that underpins the Bitcoin network. (Source link)
