Shiba Inu (SHIB), the second largest meme coin, has remained relevant despite being an under four years crypto asset.

Since its emergence, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has existed more on mere hypes and speculations rather than via a well-mapped blueprint. However, it has recently proven itself beyond the meme ticker by launching viable projects with real-world utility.

Consequent to the above, crypto enthusiasts are worried about the propensity of the canine-themed meme crypto to still be in existence in 2050. For this purpose, we employed Bard, Google’s artificial intelligence (AI) model, to get its perspective.

Google Bard’s Argument For Shiba Inu (SHIB) Longevity

According to Google Bard, some features and characteristics of the Shiba Inu ecosystem will be crucial in ensuring that the crypto project survives the length of time.

Bard reckoned Shiba Inu’s resilient community as one of the strong selling points that could see it survive beyond 2050. Recall that in one of our previous reports, the Shiba Inu development team praised its community’s true strength.

Going further, the chatbot highlighted the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s planned development as another factor that would drive the crypto platform’s longevity. Bard remarked, “The project has plans for Shibarium, its layer-2 blockchain, and a Shiba Inu metaverse, which could provide utility and drive adoption.”

Another point that Bard highlighted to be significant in propelling the SHIB’s long-term existence is its burn campaign. The chatbot noted that considerable burn rates will increase the value of SHIB in the long run.

Finally, Bard spotlighted how the general crypto market can impact SHIB’s longevity. The AI model noted, “If the cryptocurrency market continues to expand, it could create space for various currencies, including SHIB.”

Google Bard’s Argument Against Shiba Inu Longevity

Per Bard, High volatility remains one of the SHIB’s main disadvantages that could hinder the meme coin’s existence in the long term.

Others include formidable competition, regulatory changes, and meme coin origins. Expantiating on the meme coin origins, Bard remarked, “Starting as a meme coin, SHIB might struggle to gain widespread adoption as a serious investment or payment method.”

Considering the points raised by Bard, predicting whether Shiba Inu (SHIB) will remain in existence beyond the 2050s can not be ascertained. However, developments within and outside the Shiba Inu ecosystem can serve as a pointer to making a sound prediction. It should be noted that this piece is not financial advice.
