PANews reported on March 8 that according to Securities Daily, in March 2023, the Digital RMB App (pilot version) officially added "WeChat Pay" to the "Wallet Quick Payment Management". Currently, users can open WeChat Pay Wallet Quick Payment in the Digital RMB App (pilot version). According to the current rules of the Digital RMB App, the single payment limit is 20,000 yuan, and the daily cumulative payment limit is 20,000 yuan. Users can also set corresponding limits.
Earlier in December 2022, Alipay officially announced that it had officially joined the digital RMB acceptance network as the first payment platform.
