Odaily Planet Daily News Modular blockchain Dymension has completed a $6.7 million seed round of financing, led by Big Brain Holdings and Stratos, with participation from Matchbox DAO, DraftKings' Shalom Meckenzie and others. Dymension co-founder and CEO Yishay Harel began raising funds for the round in May last year, and closed it at the end of last year due to the widespread cryptocurrency crash. He declined to disclose the valuation. Dymension also announced that it will launch its public testnet on February 15. Harel said that an incentivized testnet will be launched in the second quarter and the mainnet will be launched in the third quarter of this year. There are currently 9 employees working for Dymension, and Harel plans to expand the team in the near future. Dymension also plans to raise more funds before the launch of the mainnet, with a target of approximately $20 million. (TheBlock)
