According to Odaily Planet Daily, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has included Sure X and its website in the warning list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms. Although Sure X's platform website seems to be unavailable, Hong Kong investors may still be able to access the website or suspected trading platform on the Internet or other channels and register as new users.

The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission suspects that Sure X may be actively promoting its virtual asset trading platform services to Hong Kong investors without a license in the name of providing education and training on blockchain and cryptocurrency. According to the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance, it is a crime to operate a virtual asset service business in Hong Kong without a license, or to actively promote such services to Hong Kong investors. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission once again warns investors not to buy and sell virtual assets on unregulated virtual asset trading platforms.
