According to Foresight News, according to Cointelegraph, Movement Labs co-founder Rushi Manche said that the company plans to launch a new mechanism by the end of 2024 that will enable fast settlement on the L2 network. The mechanism is an alternative to Ethereum L2 transaction settlement, such as zero-knowledge proof (ZK) and fraud proof, which has the potential to reduce confirmation time to less than 1 second. Manche said that through Post-Confirmations, applications built on Movement Labs' upcoming M2 network can choose to transfer transactions to a validator network protected by Movement's native token MOVE. The token is scheduled to be launched at the end of 2024.
