PANews reported on October 10 that according to Circle's official X account, native USDC has been launched on the Polygon PoS mainnet. With the addition of Polygon PoS, native USDC is now circulating on 15 blockchain networks. Enterprises and institutions can use Circle Mint and its API to access on/off-ramps at the price of USDC on Polygon PoS. Circle Mint also makes it easy to deposit USDC from one chain and withdraw USDC on another chain, avoiding the costs and delays of third-party bridging. Developers can use native USDC on Polygon PoS to build a stable fund that is durable and officially supported by Circle.
Later this year, Circle plans to bring the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) to Polygon PoS to enable secure interoperability with other blockchain networks.
