Metis’ proposal to “switch data availability back to Ethereum” has passed
The Ethereum Layer 2 network Metis's proposal to "switch data availability back to Ethereum" has been approved. Metis will re-store all transaction data on the Ethereum mainnet, converting from the off-chain storage layer to the original traditional Optimistic Rollup format, thereby eliminating Metis layers of complexity in the architecture and enable complete data availability.
