I've compiled 6 major airdrops from the last 3 years and highlighted common patterns in them. I broke down what the criteria were conducted.
1) The story starts with Uniswap.
Profit: 400 $UNI ($1360 at the time of the airdrop and $17200 at ATH).
Date: September, 2020.
Criteria: Any use of the platform.
2) Already after a few months, a competitor woke up - 1inch.
Profit: ~600 $1INCH ($1000 at the time of the airdrop and $4400 at ATH).
Date: December, 2020.
Criteria: Minimum of one transaction, or 4 transactions in total, or $20 volume up to a certain time.
3) It's been almost a year, and airdrop from a unique project, ENS, has appeared on the market.
Profit: ~133 $ENS ($10,000 at the time of the airdrop and $10,120 at ATH).
Date: November, 2021.
Criteria: ENS ownership, ENS holding period, remaining ENS holding period.
4) Here we are getting closer to our time. The first airdrop from Optimism.
Profit: ~700 - 7000 $OP ($1000-$10000 at the time of the airdrop and $2200 - $20000 at ATH).
Date: May, 2022.
Criteria: Use Optimism, Voting, Donater, Regular Optimism user.
5) Approaching the airdrop that started the trend - Aptos.
Profit: 150-300 $APT ($1300-$2600 at the time of the airdrop and $2700-$5500 at ATH).
Date: October, 2022.
Criteria: Node installation and submission to testnet, Mint NFT on testnet.
6) And finally, the king of the airdrops - Arbitrum.
Profit: 1250-1250 $ARB ($1750-$17500 at the time of the airdrop and $2125-$21250 at ATH).
Date: March 2022.
