According to a survey by the Financial Times, most economists believe that the Federal Reserve will not start cutting interest rates until July 2024 at the earliest, and the extent of the rate cuts will be smaller than what financial markets expected.
But Wall Street doesn’t buy it at all! Bet that the other party will cut interest rates soon for three reasons:
1. Raising interest rates can significantly suppress inflation.
2. Economic growth begins to slow down, and recession is beginning to appear.
3. Under the pressure of high interest rates, the Federal Reserve currently has a "huge loss" of more than 120 billion US dollars.
Strong market pricing indicates that the market is rushing ahead and is competing with the Federal Reserve!
