📥 Second: Safeguarding inbound payments and P2P trading
1️⃣ The golden rule in P2P:
Never release funds before signing in to your bank app and making sure the amount has actually reached your account. Never rely on SMS notifications or screenshots.
2️⃣ Name matching:
Accept payments only from a bank account bearing the same name as the buyer registered on Binance. Reject any transfer from a third party to protect your bank account from legal restrictions.
3️⃣ Avoid scams via chat:
Anyone who asks you to communicate outside the Binance platform (e.g., Telegram or WhatsApp) to arrange a transfer is 99% a scammer. Document everything inside the official Binance chat.
🔒 Third: Your account’s security shield on Binance
Enable 2FA: Disable authentication via text messages (SMS) and use Binance/Google Authenticator or Passkeys.
Anti-Phishing Code: Enable this code so it appears in every official email you receive from Binance, to ensure the message is not fake.
Revoke device permissions: Periodically review the “Device Management” list and remove any old or unknown device.
💡 Safety summary:
In the world of Crypto, you are your own bank! Speeding up transfers can cost you a lot—so take an extra minute to review everything every time.
