Justin Sun’s latest personal asset allocation◇ BTC core holding unchanged; ETH reduced by 80–90%, with funds redirected to U.S. stocks 2026-10-17 15:03 BlockBeats reports that on October 17, TRON founder Justin Sun shared his personal asset views “outside of TRON” during a recent 3.5-hour in-person conversation with Jin Ming. Key points on his allocation are as follows: BTC: Held as a core position, with no reductions over the past year. Although he is concerned about the risks posed by quantum computing and AI algorithms, and believes the market has not fully priced in these risks, he continues to hold BTC and uses “bunker mode” with cold wallets to keep it isolated. ETH: Last year, he reduced around 80–90% of his aggressive position when ETH was in the $3,600–$4,000 range. He now holds only around 20% as a core position and is waiting on the sidelines; he has not bought back in. Most of the funds from the reduction were moved into U.S. stocks. Nvidia: His main U.S. stock position, viewed as a core holding in the AI sector; he holds a large position and is not reducing it. Nasdaq 100: A large holding. He is slightly bearish over the medium term (due to factors such as crowded trades and high interest rates), but has not shorted it and is maintaining his position. A-shares: No holdings. He is broadly bearish on traditional assets and prefers areas such as AI applications and Web3. During the interview, Sun Yuchen emphasized that ETH is an aggressive asset while BTC is a core holding. He also expressed optimism about applications such as AI-powered health management, while being bearish on some hardware sectors. These are paraphrased highlights from the interview, not a complete balance sheet.

Now I finally understand why so many Koreans who trade stocks jump off buildings! In just a few months, it plunged from 63.9 to 10.45! When it dropped to a little over 17, I thought it had hit bottom. I never imagined there was an abyss waiting below! $KORU

BTC can stand in for JPMorgan Chase. ZEC can stand in for Swiss banks. Various other altcoins can be likened to A-share bank stocks.

Got into this coin for the first time and ended up completely stuck holding it. This feels awful.

How many times does the coin you’re holding need to go up for you to break even? I’ve listed them in order: $HYPE → 1.2x $TRX → 1.3x $XMR → 1.4x $BTC → 1.5x $BNB → 1.9x $ETH → 2x $SOL → 2.8x $TAO → 2.8x $XRP → 2.8x $NEAR → 4.1x $LINK → 4.1x $AAVE → 4.2x $ONDO → 4.6x $ZEC → 4.8x $XLM → 5x $SUI → 5.1x $UNI → 6.1x $HBAR → 6.6x $INJ → 6.6x $LTC → 6.7x $PEPE → 6.8x $ENA → 7.2x $DOGE → 8.9x $ARB → 12.8x $ADA → 13.2x $AVAX → 14.3x bitcoin-cash:native → 15.7x $FET → 16.2x $SHIB → 17.2x $BONK → 18.6x $ETC → 20.7x $SEI → 22.8x $WIF → 23.6x $APT → 24.5x cosmos:native → 24.8x $OP → 32.5x celestia:native → 38.4x $DOT → 48.5x $ICP → 111.8x filecoin:native → 210.3x I compared each coin’s current price with its all-time high. Look, most people get this wrong. People who say “it’s down 50%” think it only needs to go halfway back. That’s not how it works. It needs to go up 2x to break even. If it’s down 90%, it needs to go up 10x. If it’s down 95%, it needs to go up 20x. If it’s down 99%, it needs to go up 100x. So a small-looking percentage drop can mean a much larger multiple is needed to recover. filecoin:native needs to go up 210x to return to its all-time high. $BTC only needs to go up 1.5x. The coins at the top of the list are close to their highs because the money is still there. People holding the coins lower down say, “It’s cheap now. I’ll make a fortune if it bounces back.” But there’s no guarantee a coin will ever return to a price it once reached. How many times does the coin you’re holding need to go up to reach its high? Write it below. Save this. Before you buy another coin you think “can’t go any lower,” take a look at this list.

The coins at the top of the list are close to their highs because the money is still there.

$XMR has relatively poor privacy performance. Although the ring signature mechanism is somewhat stronger than the mixing principle used by $DASH , ring signature technology can absolutely be cracked—and it doesn't even take a lot of computing power. The computing power of a personal computer with a 5080 is enough. So XMR, like DASH, isn't really a privacy coin. They're both wide open, just like BTC and LTC. Also, making a transfer with XMR is more complicated than with BTC or ZEC. The recipient also needs to know an additional ring signature key, which makes the transfer more complicated. If you enter the wrong key, the recipient won't confirm the transfer, which also limits its ease of use in practice. Personally, I think that if people are interested in privacy coins, they should just go straight for the completely black $ZEC . Time will prove that anything short of completely black just won't do. Everything else is fake—just an illusion.
