Not gonna lie, I stopped scrolling when I saw this.

Babylon just launched native Bitcoin-backed borrowing on testnet with Aave v4. You can use your actual BTC as collateral—no wrapping, no bridging, no giving up custody. Just Bitcoin, staying Bitcoin, while finally becoming productive.

One detail really stood out: JPMorgan is already accepting Bitcoin as collateral for institutional clients, and the CFTC approved the framework back in October 2025. While people still debate Bitcoin's real-world utility, major institutions are already putting it to work.

It's still early and only on testnet, so there's plenty left to prove. But if this reaches mainnet securely, it could mark a major step forward for Bitcoin—not just as a store of value, but as a truly useful financial asset.
