I’m sharing again the situation I just encountered so everyone can be more careful when trading P2P.
I transferred the exact amount and using the exact payment method that was specified, and the bank transaction was reported as successful. However, the counterparty did not confirm/release the assets, causing the transaction to be prolonged and requiring me to handle a dispute.
From this, when trading P2P, everyone should pay extra attention:
🔸 Only transfer money according to the payment information shown on the platform. 🔸 Carefully check the recipient’s name, account number, and the amount before transferring. 🔸 After transferring, keep all receipts, screenshots, and transaction history. 🔸 Don’t click “Paid” if you haven’t actually transferred the money. 🔸 Don’t trade outside the platform or follow suspicious requests from the other party. 🔸 If the other party doesn’t cooperate, don’t cancel the transaction on your own after you’ve already transferred the money; use the platform’s dispute/support feature.
P2P is very convenient, but even a small mistake can cause funds to be stuck or lead to disputes.
I’m posting this not to conclude or blame any specific individual. I just want to share a real experience so everyone can trade more carefully.
My money is something I have to protect myself. Guys trading P2P, remember to check very carefully before pressing confirm. ⚠️ #binancep2pantoan
