OOTD today:Binance Yellow.
The yellow robe is not an imperial robe; to date, 114 years have passed since the Qing dynasty was overthrown and the country perished.

I scrolled for a whole day on X and still didn’t get anything out of it. There wasn’t much in the way of hot topics. Only those people on-chain playing meme—pushing back and forth. And I still can’t get the hang of that. I don’t have time to keep staring at the computer. Well, maybe those p-runners. Today MicroStrategy sold 16,388 Bitcoins for $BTC , about $100 million. Even institutional players are having a tough time. At the same time, it’s getting harder for ordinary people to make money in Web3. Trading is hard, and farming rewards is hard too. Only those who deal in traffic can still get decent cash flow. I’ve also been looking for direction in Web2. If there’s a suitable Web2 project, you can switch tracks and go do it. Today I also gathered some small wallets. I saw the APT wallet that I bought for $8–$9, $APT — now it’s only $0.5 per coin. I really have nothing but tears. Even public-chain coins can drop this hard. I don’t know if the team is just doing nothing, or if this whole circle really is done for.

Movement Labs, the development company of the Movement blockchain, has filed for bankruptcy—quite heartbreaking. Movement $MOVE —this chain is probably a ghost chain now too, I don’t know if there are any users. Anyway, I haven’t looked at it in a long time. Last year when they did an air drop, we only had one night to claim. At the time, I couldn’t bear to pay the high mainnet gas fees to claim. For each account it cost me about $30–40. I thought I’d claim the next day. 结果暂停了不让领取, I’m really regretful. If I’d known gas would be high, I would’ve claimed anyway. Six months later, the coin price had already fallen a lot. In the end, what I claimed was… Let me reflect on it: the testnet was basically “free money”—no matter how much they gave, it was profit. It was a “star team,” top-tier VCs, and a flashy narrative. But the coin price kept going down all the way. In the end, it ended in bankruptcy. A pity. Today’s big pie $BTC is over 65,000+, Ethereum is 1900+ With the World Cup ending, it feels like on-chain liquidity has increased. Base, BSC, Robinhood chain, and Solana chain—there are some popular meme coins running on them too. If the bubble of US stock narratives like AI, storage, space, etc. bursts, then I hope capital will rotate into the crypto market. Then the big pie can quickly stand above 70k, 80k+.

The big short DoctorProfit in the English-speaking sector, who bet against BTC for 120,000 yuan, has recently turned fully bullish and started increasing via DCA at $BTC . His short positions established between $115,000 and $125,000 for Bitcoin have now been closed, and he has made an enormous profit. Also, all the altcoin short positions he opened over the past few months—more than 100—have been closed as well, locking in huge gains again. Since September 2025, it’s the first time he’s bought Bitcoin spot again. Today, he entered at $64,000, and the plan is to hold long term. He will use 5% of allocated capital to buy spot Bitcoin via DCA, with the buying limited to within 20 days. If it drops below $54,000, then he will buy even more aggressively. His logic is: On sentiment: Everyone he knows wants to buy in September or October. Right now, the X platform is extremely bearish (with lots of people calling for 40k, 45k, 50k, or even lower), and it’s the same “herd behavior” as when people were calling for 150k at the top in September 2025. The masses are all waiting for the same low price (40–50k), and the market is very unlikely to give them that. He chooses to “get ahead of the herd” and position, instead of waiting for the same bottom as everyone else. On the cycle: He doesn’t believe that a strict “four-year cycle bottom” will show up exactly in September–October. He thinks the bottom will arrive earlier, and the conditions for a deep dive are disappearing. On the structural fundamentals (the most important new variable): Regulatory clarity is accelerating (the CLARITY Act could pass on August 10), and the tokenization revolution is truly happening. BlackRock, Vanguard, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, and the NYSE have already conducted tokenization pilots at the DTCC (stocks, SPY, QQQ, and U.S. Treasuries are being put on-chain), with plans to正式 launch in October. The institutional infrastructure is in place (BlackRock ETFs, Coinbase’s institutional business, and Citadel directly investing $400 million). These changes have completely altered the Bitcoin market environment compared with six months ago. Institutional capital is flowing in at scale, while retail traders are still debating whether the bear market has ended. On technicals: The weekly MA200 is currently running right in the $54k–$64k range, and it’s now being tested from below. It’s also the top area of the 2024 sideways trading box, which is an important support zone. Another reason is the relationship with the stock market: if the stock market crashes, funds will very likely rotate from overvalued assets into undervalued crypto. Based on the above logic, he then adjusted his strategy and bought BTC spot. (These are only a summary of the core logic of that post, not investment advice.)

The market switching pace is just way too fast, huh. Retail traders go to BASE and trade so hard they’ve wiped out the head guys again, while I’m getting wrecked. A robinhood chain meme— why does it keep pumping every time I don’t buy? But when I buy, it crashes. So it’s just like it was aiming at my little bit of money? Honestly, I really have to admire it. Some people are just insanely good— with this market, in just a few days they’ve already pulled a few tens of thousands of dollars. One creator I follow, just a few days ago was optimizing their resume to go find a Web2 job, but these days they flipped it around through memes. I looked at his GMGN wallet address— playing meme for one night and he made 17k dollars. Before that, I saw him also make a few thousand dollars on Robinhood. I’m honestly just so jealous. I knew about Base’s B20 protocol a long time ago, but I didn’t pay attention to new tokens in the B20 ecosystem. After the Robinhood meme hype cooled down, then the Base founder posted on X reflecting and thinking things through, and the market liquidity shifted onto Base. Coinbase co-founder Brian is always stirring things up. He changed to a new profile pic, indirectly supporting memes. So $Brian just flew straight up— from 0 to a peak of 35m. And me, even though I had seen this CA before— it should have been at a market cap of several hundred thousand at the time— but I still didn’t just buy on the spot. I’m still not sharp enough. I didn’t go position myself in some big-name meme plays. I’m just too inexperienced.

Another project has been stolen again—Ostium’s OLP vault in the perp DEX track has been emptied. The loss is $24 million. The hacker has moved the funds into a mixing pool. If the money can’t be recovered, this project will most likely be dead in the water. This is also one of the projects I previously “went heavy” on. Out of all those perp projects, none were hacked—yet it was this one that got stolen. The team collected so many fees and ended up whitewashing it—what a joke! This morning I saw a tweet from Base founder Jesse. He said he admits that Base’s bets on on-chain social and creator tokens were “wrong,” and he stepped down as the leader of the Base App. Then Base App will be taken over by Jordan Fish—better known in the crypto community as Cobie. Base didn’t get its one good L2 right, and Jesse went off to mess with the Base app instead, turning it into something that doesn’t make sense anymore. They didn’t build the app very well, and the L2’s DeFi trading volume was also surpassed by Robinhood—so it’s failing on both fronts.

Today the big pancake (BTC) has returned to 65K, and Ethereum ($ETH ) has also reclaimed 1900+. Although geopolitical tensions are still hot and full of uncertainty, these uncertainties seem to be affecting crypto prices less and less. Even Uncle Bao Er has publicly called out on X: $BTC — what’s the deal with that? The biggest structural news today is that Japan has officially included crypto assets within the financial product regulatory framework. The Japanese House of Councillors passed the bill to position crypto assets as financial products; starting in 2028, the tax rate will be reduced from the maximum 55% to about 20%, and a制度 framework will be established for crypto ETFs. This lowers the investment threshold and makes it easier for institutions and asset managers to enter; in the long run, it’s generally bullish. Robinhood chain is very lively—now a whole bunch of launch platforms are competing in a frenzy. These platforms, as well as the developers who create the launched tokens, make money from transaction fees— there probably won’t be enough “newbie investors” to keep feeding the machine. But if you have a good meme that fits, with a low market cap and a clear narrative logic, you can take a shot.

Today I’m eating a celebrity gossip. Zou Shiming lost 200 million over seven years, and in addition to that he’s also carrying debts. In the loss breakdown, there was even trading in crypto, which cost him 40 million. First, there’s the annual rent—50 million—to open a boxing gym in Shanghai, and even the renovation cost 60 million. On average, he lost 30 million every month. Second, to try to get back to break-even, he got involved in high-risk P2P wealth management, investing 80 million. In the end, the financial product blew up, and he lost everything. He also opened a web-celebrity milk tea shop and lost 50 million, and a hot pot restaurant lost several tens of millions. Even doing e-sports livestreaming lost 20 million. Finally, he invested 40 million in virtual currency, and the result was zero. I don’t really understand the other businesses, but losing 40 million from trading crypto was probably a setup by someone. Had he bought $BTC Bitcoin or $ETH Ethereum, he wouldn’t have ended up with everything wiped out. They say that after Zou Shiming retired that year, he took a few hundred million in real money, and thought he’d just stay at home playing games and living off the interest every day. But his wife, Ran Yingying, took the lead and encouraged—pressured—him to pivot into entrepreneurship. After all that, he ended up losing the entire family fortune worth several hundred million. Now that the money is gone from all the hustling, the woman was the first to come out and post videos accusing him of a “widowed-style marriage.” This time, the plan was to establish a tragic “big missus who’s alone raising the child” persona, but it backfired—because netizens simply didn’t buy it, and everyone sympathized with Zou Shiming instead. Celebrities are also just ordinary people. They earned money riding a favorable trend, and then lost it all back with their own lack of ability. Actually, there are quite a few similar cases in the crypto world too: people make money because of luck, and then lose it all back because of their own ability. So if desire is always greater than ability, the outcome will definitely be bankruptcy.

Futu Insider Trading Case: The Chinese-background defendants finally come to light. In May, Futu and Tiger were fined huge amounts by China’s securities regulator and seven other departments for illegal cross-border securities business. Meanwhile, in the U.S. stock market, someone had already placed 200,000 short-term put options on Futu two weeks in advance—profiting over $100 million by fully cashing in on cross-border regulatory headwinds. So, Wall Street went straight to sue in the New York federal court. Waiting for what comes next. Why have Chinese concept stocks been struggling so badly? This sheds light on it.

$ARX is currently in a deep retracement + base-building phase after the new coin’s listing. On the first day of listing (6/22), it spiked to $0.468 and then trended lower; on 7/4 it tested a low of $0.203. Today (7/5) it rebounded to $0.225, showing a short-term “bottoming and rebound” signal. Taking technicals, market flows, and the narrative into account, in the next 1–2 weeks it is likely to trade sideways in the $0.20–0.30 range as it searches for a bottom. If the privacy narrative continues to gain momentum and the broader market stabilizes, there is a possibility of retesting the prior high near $0.33. Conversely, if it breaks below the $0.20 support level, it could probe further down to $0.17–0.18.

BSC is going crazy—it's another FOMO time where people are watching others print money like crazy. Ever since the Sol chain celebrity coin Ansem went viral, this wave of wind has blown onto the BSC chain. Over the past two days, the developers issued a $cz coin, copying Ansem’s play from the Sol chain: They sent 70% of the allocation to Binance founder cz’s wallet address. In less than 2 days, the coin’s highest FDV reached 88M; now the market cap is 65M. The 70% allocation sent to cz is worth 45M. But cz will most likely not claim it— after all, he doesn’t lack this kind of money. And he’s already clarified that he won’t participate in endorsing this kind of meme. So the coins sent to him effectively function as a burn. Those loyal “P” crowd who’ve been waiting on-chain are panicking again— hundreds of times returns in a day, with withdrawals of tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands in profit. They’ve made way too much. They stayed up late to watch the chain and went heavy on-chain— they deserve to make money! Guess that’s why $币安人生 went up.
