On September 18, 2023, as the two-week Phase 1 event drew to a perfect close, the Linea Entertainment Festival, a collaborative effort between Linea, DeGame, and Particle Network, has reached its halfway mark, gearing up for the next exciting journey. This month-long grand gaming event, which kicked off on September 5, 2023, aims to bridge collaborations for Linea and cutting-edge Web3 gaming projects. It also seeks to establish a gaming ecosystem for Linea, offering a smoother platform for games and introducing a plethora of fresh and intriguing games for enthusiasts.

In these brief yet intense two weeks, Linea, DeGame, and Particle Network not only witnessed the rapid growth of 15 Web3 gaming teams during the first phase but were also inspired by a series of professional online discussions and enthusiastic offline events. This wasn’t just a celebration of technology and creativity; it was a confluence of industry resonance and forward-thinking.

At this pivotal juncture, let’s take a moment to reflect on the past, setting the stage for our brand-new future — Phase 2.

Phase 1 Highlights

During the Linea Entertainment Festival Phase 1, Linea, DeGame, and Particle Network joined forces with 15 communities from infrastructure, gaming, and social sectors within the Web3 realm. These included Metale Protocol, AlienSwap, Cricket Fly, Dmail, 420 Empire, Particle Network, Battlemon, Bingo0x, Cataclysm Game, MEEET, Meta Apes, Project Twelve, Tatarot, Sidus Heroes, and Zypher Games. They offered a variety of tasks and generous rewards for gaming aficionados. Players could not only win prizes from each community by completing respective tasks but also vie for the TOP60 ranking in Group B, unlocking the final raffle list for the Linea Entertainment Festival.

Thanks to the collective efforts of the communities and players over two weeks, the first phase achieved astonishing figures:

Furthermore, Linea, DeGame, and Particle Network organized two offline events during the Korea Blockchain Week and Token2049, offering attendees a platform centered around “Linea Gaming” for sharing, networking, and learning. These events attracted thousands of registrations, with over 700 attendees, underscoring the keen interest in Gaming and the Linea Gaming ecosystem.

Simultaneously, Linea and DeGame hosted three Twitter Spaces, inviting communities participating in the first phase to showcase their achievements and share innovative ideas for advancing Web3 Gaming. Through these interactive sessions, they injected fresh energy into the Linea Entertainment Festival and the broader gaming ecosystem.

While we take pride in the “bountiful harvest” of Phase 1, we also hope to give everyone an early insight into Phase 2, ensuring a more informed and engaging participation.

Phase 2 Schedule

The Linea Entertainment Festival Phase 2 will span another two weeks, primarily divided into two types of events:

Event 1: Festival Quests

Linea, DeGame, and Particle Network will collaborate with over 15 projects and communities to timely launch Phase 2’s Festival Quests. Unlike Phase 1, this stage introduces an upgraded gameplay, allowing players to freely choose their favorite communities to participate in and win their Festival gifts.

Event 2: AMA

AMAs are indispensable for players to understand projects and communities and to select and complete Phase 2 Quests. During Phase 2, we will continue to organize multiple AMAs, inviting communities participating in Phase 2 to introduce themselves and share insights about Web3 Gaming and the Linea Gaming ecosystem.

New Benefit from Linea

To facilitate users’ seamless integration and participation in the Linea ecosystem, the first attestation of Linea Verax Attestation Registry is set to launch. Linea, in collaboration with Clique, is rolling out POH, as the first attestation through “Linea Verax Attestation Registry”, the inaugural attestation experience for the Linea ecosystem. This will be the beginning of a user’s loyalty journey on Linea. More details on the Loyalty Program will be announced in subsequent official releases.
