Bridges feel like progress. You build one, and suddenly two separate things can talk to each other. We’ve accepted them as the natural way to move value across blockchains.
But bridges also carry weight. Hacks, trust assumptions, wrapped versions of things that were never meant to be wrapped. The solution quietly became part of the problem.
Trustless vaults suggest a different starting point. Instead of building a path between two places, you remove the need to travel at all.
