There isn’t much of a major trend today—let’s talk about the “soft stuff.”
After spending so many years in the crypto world, I think the most important ability isn’t analyzing candlestick charts, not hunting for 100x coins, and not trying to buy the bottom and escape the top.
It’s accepting your fate.
Accept what fate?
The fate where you can’t possibly make every single cent
The fate where you will definitely step into traps and lose money
The fate where, no matter how hard you work, you still can’t outmatch other people’s good luck
Sounds pretty bleak? No—once you accept these, you’ll actually feel a lot lighter.
You won’t beat yourself up for missing the move, you won’t lose sleep because you’re stuck in a position, and you won’t feel anxious just because someone else is making more than you.
Earn only the money that fits within your understanding, and lose only the money you can afford to lose.
As for the rest, leave it to luck.
That’s the real secret to being able to survive in crypto for a long time.
Let me share a viewpoint that might offend some people.
In the crypto world, 90% of people are simply not suited to trading futures.
It’s not that futures are bad—it’s that most people don’t have the basic qualities required to play them: Can’t control their position size; when they profit they want to add, when they lose they want to average down.
They set a stop-loss but don’t follow through, always thinking, “Just wait a bit and it’ll come back.”
Stay up late watching the charts, and let their emotions move with the candlesticks.
When they win, they think they’re amazing; when they lose, they blame the market makers and “bad actors.”
How many of these have you fallen for?
Don’t misunderstand—I’m not telling you not to trade them. I’m urging you to first think clearly about what you’re actually playing. If you’re using spare money and treating it like a game, that’s fine—do whatever makes you happy.
But if you put your life savings on the line and still believe you can “risk small to win big and change your fate”—then the market’s first lesson for you is usually going to be very expensive.
At the end of 2023, a friend of mine heavily went into a fake/clone coin. His cost was 0.5 yuan. Later it dropped to 0.2 yuan. Every day he would curse the project team, saying he wanted to seek redress, report to the police, and organize a group to file a lawsuit.
I advised him to just cut his losses and move on, keeping whatever principal he could. He said no: "We've already lost so much. If I sell now, then it's really gone.
" Later on, that coin rallied to 0.8 yuan. He bailed out and made 60%. The day he sold, he was especially happy, saying that he had "a bigger mindset, and could hold on."
I didn’t have the nerve to say: You’re not a person with a bigger mindset—you were simply unable to pull the trigger when you were losing. This time you just got lucky and it came back.
The most terrifying thing in the crypto world isn’t losing money. It’s making money by luck, and then thinking it was because of real skill. Next time you run into it, you might not be so lucky.
Suddenly I thought of a question: if the coin you’re holding doubles tomorrow, would you sell? Don’t rush to answer.
I’ve seen too many people say “If it doubles, I’ll run,” but when it really doubles, what they think is, “Let’s wait—maybe it can go up more.” Then when it falls back, what they think is, “Once it returns to the high point, I’ll sell.” And when it drops again, they end up becoming long-term holders.
It’s not that long-term holding is wrong. It’s that many people’s “long-term holding” isn’t a conscious choice—it’s passive entrapment.
To start this week, think clearly about one thing: are you investing, or are you taking your frustration out on the market? Once you’ve figured that out, your actions won’t be so conflicted.

Today's little Z is no longer the little Z from yesterday. Although my head is very foggy today, you all said in the comments that I have too many skills. I quit that long ago, and I even shaved my beard to show off my high school heartthrob abilities!!! $ETH $BTC $币安人生
Some people doubt that I am not a college student; I am really eating instant noodles in the dormitory, saving every penny to pay the deposit. If Ethereum falls below 2000, I will withdraw fifty thousand from my fund and invest it back in, treating it as spot trading. I don’t believe ETH can still be over 1000?
