Safety Checklist When Trading Binance P2P – Avoid Losing Money Unnecessarily P2P trading is convenient, but it’s also a place where scams happen or where fraudsters target users. Here are the things to remember before you click “Confirm”: 1. Always trade within the Binance app Never transfer money or receive money through channels outside the app (Zalo, Telegram, direct bank transfer not via the P2P order). All exchanges must take place within the order’s chat window, so you have evidence if you need to file a dispute. 2. Seller: only release coins after the money has REALLY arrived in your account • Check the actual bank account balance; don’t trust screenshots of transfers (they’re easy to forge). • Be cautious if the buyer transfers from a third-party account (not in the buyer’s name) – this is a high-risk sign and may involve “dirty money,” which could lead to your bank account being frozen. • Do not release coins when you see pressure like “transfer urgently for me,” or excessive urgency. 3. Buyer: never transfer money before the order is created on the system Only pay after you see the coin has been locked (escrow) in the official P2P order. 4. Watch out for common scam tricks • Impersonating Binance support staff who message privately asking you to provide OTP, password, or seed phrase. • Sending strange links that look like account verification pages. • Requesting refunds through external channels after the transaction has already been completed. 5. When there is a dispute Use the Appeal (dispute) function right inside the order, attach all necessary screenshots of account statements/receipts, and do not settle privately with the other party. Safety in P2P isn’t difficult—just slow down by a beat and always operate within the Binance system. Wishing everyone smooth trading! @Binance_Vietnam #BinanceP2PAnToan
Safety Checklist When Trading Binance P2P – Avoid Losing Money Unnecessarily

P2P trading is convenient, but it’s also a place where scams happen or where fraudsters target users. Here are the things to remember before you click “Confirm”:
1. Always trade within the Binance app
Never transfer money or receive money through channels outside the app (Zalo, Telegram, direct bank transfer not via the P2P order). All exchanges must take place within the order’s chat window, so you have evidence if you need to file a dispute.

2. Seller: only release coins after the money has REALLY arrived in your account

• Check the actual bank account balance; don’t trust screenshots of transfers (they’re easy to forge).

3. Buyer: never transfer money before the order is created on the system
Only pay after you see the coin has been locked (escrow) in the official P2P order.

4. Watch out for common scam tricks

• Impersonating Binance support staff who message privately asking you to provide OTP, password, or seed phrase.
• Sending strange links that look like account verification pages.
• Requesting refunds through external channels after the transaction has already been completed.
5. When there is a dispute
Use the Appeal (dispute) function right inside the order, attach all necessary screenshots of account statements/receipts, and do not settle privately with the other party.

Safety in P2P isn’t difficult—just slow down by a beat and always operate within the Binance system. Wishing everyone smooth trading!
