The U.S. Treasury could use its $935,000,000,000 cash stockpile to fund expanded bond buybacks, rather than relying solely on new short-term debt issuance. $TRUMP $WLFI $MORPHO
Trump-Backed World Liberty Wins Conditional OCC Approval for National Trust Bank
According to Bloomberg, World Liberty Financial has received conditional approval from the U.S. OCC to establish a national trust bank that could hold assets backing its USD1 stablecoin. The approval comes amid a surge in new U.S. bank charters, with the OCC approving 22 applications in the first 19 months of Trump’s second term, more than in the previous five years combined. World Liberty must still meet capital, governance and audit requirements before receiving final authorization. $WLFI $TRUMP $MELANIA

In my perspective, the most interesting thing about @TermMax isn’t simply that it offers fixed rates.
It’s the idea of making DeFi more predictable.
Think about borrowing in a variable rate market.
You borrow today at 5%.
A few weeks later the market changes and suddenly your cost is 8% or 10%.
Your position may still be profitable, but your original calculation has changed.
TermMax takes a different approach.
You choose a market, collateral and maturity, then lock in the borrowing rate for that term.
That means you can calculate your cost before entering the position instead of constantly guessing what the rate might become.
What I find even more interesting is what happens under the hood.
TermMax uses three core components:
FT represents the fixed repayment at maturity.
XT helps connect the fixed rate market with the underlying debt asset.
GT represents the collateralized borrowing position.
Together, these create something that feels closer to a bond market inside DeFi than a traditional floating rate money market.
And that opens a bigger question for me:
Maybe the next evolution of DeFi isn’t simply chasing higher APY.
Maybe it’s making capital more predictable.
Because when you know your cost, your maturity and your expected return upfront, it becomes much easier to build an actual strategy around your capital.
That’s the part of TermMax I find genuinely interesting. #TermMax
A lot of people choose a DeFi rate by looking at the bigger APY. But the better question is what you are actually trying to do with your money.
Here is a simple way to think about it.
Short term trader
Variable rates can make sense when you need flexibility and expect to move funds quickly.
Long term holder
Fixed rates can be easier to plan around. You know the borrowing cost or expected return for a set period.
Stablecoin lender
Variable rates may become attractive when market demand rises. But the rate can also fall.
A fixed rate gives you more certainty about what you will earn.
Leveraged user
This is where predictability matters most.
If your borrowing cost suddenly rises while your position is open your strategy can become harder to manage.
A fixed rate lets you know the cost before you take the position.
So which one is better?
There is no universal winner.
Variable rate = flexibility
Fixed rate = predictability
The right choice depends on your time horizon and risk tolerance.
That is why I find @TermMax interesting. It brings fixed rate thinking into DeFi and makes the decision less about chasing the highest number and more about knowing what you are getting.
Always check liquidity and smart contract risk before using any DeFi protocol.
The DeFi problem nobody talks about enough: uncertainty.
You deposit stablecoins, see an attractive APY, and then the rate changes.
You borrow against your assets, and the cost can move higher.
This is where @TermMax takes a different approach.
TermMax is building fixed rate DeFi, where lending and borrowing happen around defined rates and maturities.
Here is the simple idea:
Lenders → lock capital for a defined term → receive a predictable yield
Borrowers → provide collateral → lock their borrowing cost → repay at maturity
So instead of asking:
“What will the interest rate be tomorrow?”
You can ask:
“What return or borrowing cost am I agreeing to today?”
That shift is important because predictable rates make capital easier to plan.
TermMax also goes beyond basic lending.
Its ecosystem includes curator managed vaults, one click leverage, structured products and support for multiple chains including Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Berachain and Base.
The bigger idea is not simply another lending protocol.
It is bringing a fixed income mindset into DeFi.
Variable rates are useful when you want flexibility.
Fixed rates become interesting when you value predictability.
And as DeFi matures, predictable financial products could become just as important as higher yields.
That is the part of TermMax I think deserves more attention.
Not “how much APY can DeFi offer?”
But “how predictable can DeFi become?”
Always research smart contract, collateral, liquidity and maturity risks before depositing funds.
Gold has reached the $4,400 to $4,500 zone, a key area where the recent rally is starting to face stronger resistance.
The 1H chart shows a sharp move toward $4,439 followed by a quick rejection back toward $4,368. This suggests that buyers are losing momentum near the upper range.
For now, $4,400 to $4,450 remains the main resistance zone, while $4,320 and $4,295 are important downside levels to watch.
If price fails to reclaim the recent high and starts forming lower highs, the broader structure could gradually shift bearish.
Rather than chasing the current move, waiting for a clear confirmation around resistance may offer a better risk to reward setup.
The long term outlook remains cautious, with a potential larger downtrend developing if key support levels eventually break. $XAUT $PAXG
On 1st May I joined the Binance Discord AMA about Binance AI. It was a very helpful session. Here’s what I learned:
• We can ask Binance AI to analyze any token or market condition. • We can set price alerts without doing it manually. • We can ask AI to summarize any content from Square. • It is especially helpful for beginners who are new to trading as it can act as an assistant throughout their trading journey. • Binance AI Pro gives you more tokens for chatting and additional benefits like on chain data tracking.
