Ireland's Data Protection Commission, Europe's main privacy regulator, fined Meta (FB) parent Platforms Inc. 265 million euros ($276 million) on Monday for failing to better protect more than five Phone numbers and other information of 100 million users are protected from so-called data scraping tools.

Meta was fined more than 200 million or almost 300 million US dollars, but metamask started collecting user IP addresses.
