[Flash News] Singapore’s High Court considers cryptocurrencies as property when dealing with the Bybit case. Bybit sued Ho Kai Xin for breach of employment contract and abuse of power, involving more than 4.2 million USDT. The presiding judge, Philip Jeytnam, said that USDT can be held as trust property, and individuals holding crypto assets have in principle intangible property rights recognized by common law and can be enforced in court. This judgment will help further establish the status of cryptocurrency in the legal field and bring optimistic expectations to the market.
