🔍 A 2021 study by the Netherlands National High-Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU) found Ebury on a server linked to cryptocurrency theft.

🕵️‍♂️ Ebury operators allegedly used a sophisticated attack called enemy-in-the-middle (AitM) to steal crypto funds.

🎯 Ebury specifically targets Bitcoin and Ethereum nodes, stealing wallets and other valuable credentials.

👥 The ESET report indicates that more than 100,000 remain infected as of 2023.
