Daniel Jaiyong An, the former CEO of stablecoin TrueUSD developer Archblock, is suing former colleagues, saying they forced him out of the business to pursue personal gain at the expense of investors. An said in the lawsuit that he was ousted as CEO in mid-2020 while he was negotiating with billionaire Justin Sun to sell TrueUSD worth $2.8 billion to Sun's blockchain company Tron. TrueUSD was later acquired by British Virgin Islands consortium Techteryx, but Archblock continues to manage its operations. The lawsuit details how An was pushed out of the company he co-founded with Rafael Cosman, and accuses Cosman and other executives of fearing they would lose a cash cow by disclosing the new direction.
