On April 7, Dr. Wu Ming, co-founder and CTO of Conflux, was invited to attend the 2024 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival co-organized by Wanxiang Blockchain Lab and HashKey Group, and delivered a speech entitled "Towards the Ultimate Security, Efficiency, and Customizability" at the venue. During the speech, Dr. Wu Ming revealed for the first time that Conflux is developing and applying a layer-3 expansion solution compatible with Bitcoin.

In his speech, Dr. Wu Ming reviewed the development of blockchain technology using Bitcoin and Ethereum as examples, and concluded that "the development of blockchain technology is often about seeking an optimal balance between the two dimensions of 'performance' and 'security'."
