PANews reported on March 13 that according to a legal document submitted yesterday, the U.S. court has ordered former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao to hand over all his valid or expired passports to third parties. U.S. District Judge A. Jones ordered Zhao Changpeng to remain in the United States for the remainder of his sentence and to notify authorities of any travel plans. Changpeng Zhao is required to hand over his Canadian passport to a third-party custodian, who must accompany him wherever he goes to any place where identification is required. Additionally, the document states that Changpeng Zhao "may not apply for or obtain a new passport or travel document from any country without court permission." A third party holding Changpeng Zhao's passport can only return the passport to him after obtaining permission from the pretrial services department or the court.
