PANews reported on May 12 that Max Kordek, co-founder of the blockchain application platform Lisk, tweeted that the Lisk Foundation will convert 1,000 BTC into ETH in the next 10 weeks and use these ETH as part of the foundation's long-term funding. The Lisk Foundation will sell 100 BTC per week to reduce the risk of related third parties. The purchased ETH will be deposited into a multi-signature wallet. The foundation intends to pledge these ETH, but this will not be done immediately.

In addition, for future financial strategies, the Lisk Foundation will use fiat currency funds in 2023 and Bitcoin funds in 2024 and 2025. After that, the foundation will be maintained by the project's income.
