According to ChainCatcher, the BitDAO community officially stated that the 100 million BITs held by Alameda have been transferred to the chain, and thanked Alameda Research and its co-CEO Caroline Ellison for their timely response. To enhance community confidence, BitDAO recommends that the swapped BITs and FTTs be kept in their respective on-chain addresses until the end of the three-year commitment period of not selling each other's tokens in October 2021.
As previously reported, the BitDAO community issued an emergency proposal today, requiring Alameda Research to transfer 100 million BIT to an on-chain address for verification by the BitDAO community, rather than a trading platform, and requiring the other party to complete it within 24 hours, otherwise the BitDAO community will decide (by voting or any other emergency action) how to deal with the 3,362,315 FTTs in the BitDAO treasury.
