Mozilla, the Internet giant behind the Firefox browser, announced the launch of its venture capital arm, Mozilla Ventures, at the Portuguese Web Summit. As part of the Mozilla Builders startup incubator program, the arm has successfully raised $35 million (provided by the Mozilla Foundation) and will invest in early-stage startups, focusing on Series A and Seed rounds. It is reported that Mozilla Ventures emphasizes "putting people before profits" and will support the construction of decentralized digital power products, including support in the Web3 field.
