PANews reported on April 18 that according to an update released by the Binance Support Center today, Binance announced that it will phase out deposit addresses and memos that are still on the old infrastructure. Binance says this is because it continues to upgrade its wallet infrastructure to provide users with better efficiency and fund security.
Binance said that users will receive an email if their deposit address and transaction volume are affected. Users are therefore strongly advised to retrieve their new deposit address after receiving the email. The old deposit address will become invalid 30 days after the user obtains a new deposit address or receives email notification.
It is important to note that funds deposited to expired addresses are safe and will not be lost. However, future deposits to expired addresses will not be automatically credited to the account. Users can manually deposit funds to their Spot wallet using the "One click arrival" button on the transaction history page. If you do not see this option, please submit a request through the deposit status inquiry page.
