According to Foresight News, blockchain gaming platform PlayDapp said in a statement that it is estimating the scale of losses of the 200 million tokens initially minted by hackers, and has confirmed that the losses caused by its second minting of 1.59 billion tokens are small. PlayDapp token PLA will be migrated, and the snapshot time will be announced in the next update; at the same time, PlayDapp will coordinate with CEX to migrate PLA to the new token PDA, and repay PDA fees to PLA holders at a 1:1 ratio, and CEX users do not need to take any action. For PLA holders whose wallets are not on the CEX to be coordinated, PlayDapp has prepared a migration page and a claims portal, and the launch date will be disclosed with the coordinated CEX. PlayDapp will also ensure that holders accept KYC to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. At the same time, the claim period through the portal is one year, and it will be extended by another year through personal customer support, for a total of 2 years.
PDA is an upgraded version of PLA, which has introduced multi-signature implementation, snapshot, suspension and destruction permission separation management, and canceled the minting permission to improve stability. In addition, PlayDapp also introduced PDA into the DAO voting system. PDA tokens can only be exchanged 1:1 using wallets that are not related to hackers.
